Interesting selection when Stokes is back!
Woakes will make way I’d imagine

England are doing pretty well under his captaincy. Crawley with his maiden test century and Buttler scoring well.

Oh.....I get it now Tom. It was top quality irony but clearly lost on me............

Have you got any proof that it is safer for people to wear masks?
Top Dutch scientists have stated they see no benefits with masks and could do more harm than good.
Unless everyone wears kn95 or FFP3 masks etc.
Our top scientists say that wearing a face mask protects others from you so if everyone wore a mask we would all be safer.
The other difficulty in a football stadium is touching surfaces, particularly hand rails. Not sure how that issue would be overcome.

Surely all they would need to do is make people wear masks while queuing for the toilet. Problem solved.
It’s a logistical nightmare to implement social distancing at a football match. Even with gaps between each seat there’d still be those sat behind and below you
It would safer if everyone wore masks throughout the entire match day experience and not just when using the toilets.

Jimmy's past it.
Not according to Jimmy himself.
Close to 600 test wickets and still bowling at 83mph+ and still swinging it.

Would be gutted if he didn’t get to 600
I think we all would Tom.
Anderson has said quite recently in fact that he wants to play Test Cricket for as long as he can so it’ll be interesting to see what he’ll have to say today.

Last Ashes in Oz only Jimmy came close to matching the Aussie bowlers. The rest were all awful
Sky cricket didn’t mention that.

Broad still has a lot to prove for me outside of England. Both amazing in England, but abroad, only Jimmy has really done well.
Anderson’s record abroad is nowhere near as impressive as it is in England - something Sky Sport cricket have referred to when looking at the next Ashes in Oz. Broads record isn’t that good overseas either.

We’ll never have it as good as Broad and Jimmy for opening bowlers. When they’re on it they’re simply world class
They’ve been world class for several tears Tom. Anderson whacking it down at 85mph at aged 37 is truly remarkable and Broad since he upped his length has just got better and better.

Many season ticket holders are in a ‘bubble’ ie live in the same house so the club should be able to account for that in any social distancing as you could have groups of 6 sitting together before there needs to be a spare seats
That’s true and accommodating that type of season card holders along with all the others will take quite some planning. It’s a logistical nightmare.

If the restrictions are lifted enough to allow socially distancing within AG I guess SC holders Would get first priority.
I wouldn’t mind simply having two empty seats either side. The row above maybe three rows further up and the row below three rows apart.
It could certainly be done with the right planning in place.

I wouldn’t say he had a great test, only marked up a bit with last two wickets
No not great like Stokes was but decent enough. Tied up one end and allowed the seamers to toil away.
I think it was Keys who said that Bess should have been bowling from the other end to utilise the footmarks and that’s eventually where he took the final wicket from.

He’s left handed, West Indies are filled with right handed batsmen
I hadn’t really noticed that. Bess did pretty well tho and wouldn’t deserve to left out of the third test.

I’d go with that side but drop Bess for Leach
What does Leach bring ahead of Bess?
I can’t see that there’s much between them.

Good performance from England who win by 113 runs. Series 1-1.
Stokes was superb. Has to be MoM.
