They'd lose a minivan driver if that happened!

Clearly a reasonable lower league manager, but he's been the typical Rovers manager - an over aggressive, over emotional, anti City prattler who never shuts up - so as an individual no sympathy for Dopey whatsoever.
Spot on Nogbad - judging by the media stories coming out of the Mem I guess he’s been looking for an out for a while but didn’t want to resign and lose out on a pay off.

Maybe you drove him up the wall, like you do with us...
Nah.....I’ve known him for over 30 years. He was brought up off Muller Rd so only right he should follow the gas. He’s alright.

Maybe he was busy reading the map...
Nah.....he wasn’t one of the guys I drove upto Wembley.

One of the guys I play bowls with is a diehard gashead. I tried to wind him up about how crap Dopey is and he just shrugged and said “he just doesn’t have the players”......left me a bit dumbstruck........I usually get a reaction out of him...

I’m not going tonight as I’m still now feeling great (LadyFlu) but delighted to discover just now that the game is on BT Sport.
Just be glad you don’t have man flu..............

10,000?
good crowd that for last night
It was a decent attendence for essentially a reserve team game, plus it was live on BT.
A couple of gasheads I know, big Bears fans were there - bet they’d love a 10k attendence at the Mem...........

Just watching Boro v Derby...jeez, Boro are leaving one on a Derby player every tackle. Nothing sinister just a bit late every time, or a bit put on the challenge.
And now Derby are ahead........they’ve started really well and are all over Boro. A second Derby goal looks on the cards.

Yes I am aware of the points system, what I am saying is the highlighted portion is bullshit IMO, a defeat is a defeat end of.
I think most rugby fans would agree with you but EMB but the RFU call the shots and are notorious for irritating clubs and fans alike.
The point for scoring four tries is fine but a point for losing by less than seven points is ludicrous.

Bristol played 4 and won 2 are still a point behind Harlequins who have played 4 and lost 3, i'm sorry I still don't get that.
Point for scoring 4 tries.

Opening with Leach & Bess possibly doesn't set a good impression to the pitch inspector.
It’s because of the light.
A quick bowler and Lancs would be offered the light.

Imagine what it's going to be like on day four...……………………...
The pitches at Taunton do sometimes flatten out so today could be the most spin it takes
-
Whats that? 18 wickets on day one..........pitch inspectors will be on their way.
-
I saw the game lived on BT and the Bears really deserved the win but the commentary seemed very biased particularly when the Bears were ahead and one said “Bath should be beating Bristol” with the emphasis on how poor Bath were..........

If the rugby club was still at their proper home they would still have played this game at AG, no doubts about that.
Yep.
Bristol v Bath was always played at AG because it’s a huge local derby and attracted huge crowds - same as tomorrow.

Are they likely to do better than the last time they were in the top league?
According to my pal, yes they will.......despite their best player being injured in a pre season friendly............

25,000 tickets sold already. Impressive. Should be a great atmosphere and hope we can beat our old enemy! I just read that one of their players, Yann Thomas lives 3 minutes from AG and started playing for Backwell and Nailsea RFC. Hopefully another top flight rugby player being a red, like Gareth Chillcott! C'mon Bris!
A mate of mine a Bristol rugby fanatic and long term SC holder say that he and a lots of his rugby pals have not received thier SC as of yesterday.......haven’t spoke with him today so it might have arrived this morning.
He was getting worried that they might not arrived before the big match tomorrow night......

Yes but does seems odd to have 3 defenders on the bench and not Eisa…
They’ll be a perfectly reason why Eisa is missing. He could be unwell, or has a niggle that’s worsened.......
