The leveller for the mighty Somerset has always been and still is the pitches at Taunton. They’re invariably batsman friendly.

They did fantastically well to finish runners up last season.

Just got home.... cracking game of rugby. Very exciting at times and the Bears shoulda/coulda won with but two missed penalty attempts.......both long range and both just drifting wide......shame.

One thing I really liked was the music when Bears scored ‘one step beyond, ‘baggy trousers’ and ‘it must be love’ all Madness songs. Really boosted the fans and the atmosphere.

There must be FA regulations as to why football clubs don’t do something similar. Shame,  it really does make a difference.

I was lucky enough to get a spare ticket from my buddy. I’ll be at the match tomorrow.....yeah!

He’s the quickest we have - regularly over 90 mph  but as you say injuries mostly his ankles have been a real problem. In fact bumble has mentioned Woods  fitness three times already...

Stokes is c&b and leaves the pitch. The delivery is reviewed - it’s a tight no ball. Stokes is recalled........I’ve never seen a player recalled  like that before!

Like England India are stronger at home than overseas - most of the time anyway.

That said as an Englishman I revel in seeing the Aussies struggle.............
