Yes but does seems odd to have 3 defenders on the bench and not Eisa…
They’ll be a perfectly reason why Eisa is missing. He could be unwell, or has a niggle that’s worsened.......

O'Dowda & Patterson
Both capable of nicking a goal....

when we were 2 nil up, should of brought on Eisa and Dasilva, give them a chance to show what they can do., but as per normal johnson dont make changes till last 10 minutes,, brings on Eisa on 90th minute, could of rested couple of players, can never understand johnson, he needs to try these players out. i did not think we played that well. QPR were really weak
2-0 in a dangerous score line and with a new and unfamiliar back line I’m sure LJ didn’t want to risk conceding.
QPR were piss poor, as they were last season at AG under Holloway but you can only beat what’s in front of you.
Swansea will be a much tougher challenge on Saturday.

Not really a new squad is it...
Remind me how many new signings City made in the summer?

It's not the results that bother me, it's too early for that. It's the lack of a real style or game plan when compared to last season and the odd selections. When you look at the performances they've been pretty weak and two of the four teams we've played have been abysmal. Let's see how it goes but for me the gleam we had in the first half of the season last time round is well and truly worn off and LJ has a lot to do to get back into credit.
What on earth do you expect? This is a new squad and we all know that when several new signings arrive it can take several games for the real style of play to develop.
We are just four games in and it’s way too early to be making assessments until we are at least 10 - 12 games in.
To me it’s a case so far so good.

Imagine how well we could have done if he had picked a decent side.
Fair play we got a result but it's still a concerning start to the season.
Played 4 drawn 2 won 1 and lost 1
The loss came against Boro who’ll be serious promotion candidates this season.
Not a bad start all things considered.

A ball in behind the R's defence. Eh @Robbored
Yep! Good spot by LJ to see QPR are vulnerable to that type of ball.
Its not tactic he usually advocates.

Who's ****ing fault is that then??
It’s obviously an instruction from LJ. Maybe he feels QPR are susceptible to balls over the top. They certainly were at the Baggies on Saturday

Too many long balls from City for my liking.

I can't imagine what LJ's been smoking with that lineup but it must have been grown under some intense UV lights.
Hasn't he learned anything from the previous games?
And who's the luddite running the twitter feed who can't figure out how to use an iphone without sticking random characters in and getting hashtags wrong and has no idea how to give us team news with players in a sensible order?
Honestly this season is pissing me off already.
You’re another criticising LJs team selection. I’ll you the same question - who would you have picked?

I'm intrigued how half the squad went up by train and the rest of them by team coach
That seems VERY odd
There’ll be a good reason. We just don’t what it is yet............

C’on Tom.........Wet ball that’s difficult to grip, short boundaries.
Now it’s Kent’s turn in very damp conditions.
You never know......

Don’t see it myself - pitch will be dryer ball won’t get so wet.
Bad call on the toss..?
Both Hussain and Ward demonstrated just how wet the ball became when they rolled a dry ball along the grass over 10m......it was soaked and very difficult to grip...

Absolutely pathetic.
Wet ball and bowlers struggling to grip it, short boundaries all around.
Itll be the same for Kent with an even wetter ball when they bowl. That said it is a huge total........

One gasheads reckoned that what was shown wasn’t as raunchy as the Cadbury Flake advert
i wonder if he means this one?

England win by an innings and 159 runs. Quite a hammering for the Indians.
2 up in a five match series...

….I reckon you've taken a fair few 'kickings' here on Otib over the years too Robbo!
No scars tho!

So you are the same joke amongst your fellow Gashead mates as you are to the rest of OTIB?
I never was a joke amongst the gasheads. It was the other regulars in the pub who thought it was funny - most of them non football fans.
Btw - it’s my role to be a joke on here as I’m the pantomime villain.......I have a role to maintain.
