The start of one of the hardest Winters in history. Blizzard upon blizzard from December 'till late March, the entire country gridlocked by snow and ice............. as an eleven year old, it was great 1
Anyone else remember it ?
Yes I remember it, I was a newspaper boy & the trains stopped delivery, well everything just about stopped. Am I right in thinking that the sea actually froze around the south coast ?

What NP was saying is exactly what I wanted to hear from him. No fuss & honesty about players that need to know that there is no easy ride. It may hurt some people to hear it but it's whats needed.
No passengers !!!
Merry Xmas & All the very best for 2023 to everyone.

Have to admit I am more concerned than I thought I would be. Hopefully our inconsistency will work in our favour & we'll pick up unexpected points but I am quite concerned about Nige openly nameing & shaming players, that cannot be a positive for moral.

Shocking news, as others have said club rivalry has no place in these matters.
All the very best for a successful & full recovery.

Exactly that.
There are many excellent low/plus figure amateur golfers, that would never make a living playing golf. Best route for a decent player is becoming a Club Pro. Not a tour player.
No chance of him ever turning Pro. I think he's keen as mustard, but delusional.
To make it in the game, you would need to be young and in the plus handicap range.
Perhaps he sees an income from his YouTube channel
Sadly he hasn't got the personality or the looks of Paige Spiranac
You mention Julian Dicks...he wasn't bad, but far from Pro quality. I remember watching him closely when he was playing in the group in front of me during a Pro Am at the Oxfordshire.
Not particulary inspiring was it

I've commented on his Instagram post. He was slightly defensive. He reckons they are rescued. Still they had to be trained to be held by humans - they wouldn't do it naturally.
I hate seeing animals in this way, rescued is fine then release them if possible. However I have had wild dolphins & seals come close to my boat while fishing & actually stroked a dolphin (amazing & beautiful creatures) though I wouldn't try a seal with their teeth.
Admittedly its not the same as being held & I agree with the point you make

The problem I see is the end of the season we will see lots of players leave and lots arrive I don’t have confidence in Nigel and the recruitment team to bring in players needed , the players he has brought to the club overall has been pretty disappointing
I think that considering the financial mess we are in, the recruitment was as good as could be fairly expected.

Well for a start the last "break" went well did it...not;
I can see the posts after the break already........."well we need to get back up to speed etc, etc" "lets see how the transfer window pans out first, etc, etc" around and around we go with one common denominater....SL.
As you say the last break didn't help us did it but I still live in hope, it's all about opinions isn't it ?

A selfish manager , concerned about his position would have picked his strongest team last night and worried about Watford after
And that's what I'm still liking about NP, he does have the long term future as number one priority for the club.
In a previous post someone mentioned they thought that some Southampton fans were looking forward to playing us, I replied to say that "I hate to think that we may not be there for that to occur". With the teams below us now picking up points I really am worried we might not stay safe, however I'm hoping the WC break will help us to get our injured back & we can show our earlier capabilities & for the record I still want NP to be there to guide us through all this.
Always the optimist eh, COYR's (tooooo OLD to change )
