Bournemouth may not be the most glamorous of destinations but the fact of the matter is they are a premier league club they can guarantee top flight football whereas we at this moment in time can't.
This will certainly put more clubs on alert now there has been a bid and I can see us getting £20-25m with a sell on.

Good move for him and Derby wish him all the best.

Whilst I'd love all this speculation about planning, regs etc.to be true, I can't believe that they would be so stupid to proceed without any assurances of it being passed. But still, it helps to pass the boring summer days !
Yeah that was my thought as well.
Considering it's quite a dramatic change from what they currently have I would imagine there's been some discussions to say "yeah we'll start building it by this date and put in planning permission retrospectively otherwise it won't be done in time for the new season."
I really hope I'm wrong and they have to tear it down.

30 years now, I think, Magger !
It was 31 years ago. They signed him in 1992 and haven't broken their transfer record since which I think is weirdly impressive considering they are the 6th richest club in England and can afford all the top stars at the Mem.

Absolutely horrible club for this.
I hope they fail with their appeal and have to pay legal fees for both teams.

Hang on a minute I've just realised the roof isn't connected to the stand. I'm sure that's to cover their shiny new concourse at the back of the stand (providing the stand actually gets planning permission).

Looking at the design brief how can they say it's not going to be any bigger? It looks bigger on the designs!
Also they are cutting down trees and hedges (as set out in the objects) and have marked no surely that should be an automatic rejection.

Sure we were linked with him many moons back.
We were back in 2011 and I think he ended up going to Rovers, the more famous ones who also play in blue and white.

Morning Chaps/Chapesses,
Long time no speak. Thought I’d drop in to see what was happening, bit quiet in the world of BRFC isn’t it?
I’m officially done with this club now and consider myself an ex-supporter. Done with the constant bullshit from the Merseyside Mafia and every decision that’s made being further and further away from the club I grew to love, that used to be a genuine family club (stop laughing).Barton can do what he likes for all I care now, the reaction from a lot of fans shows me they deserve him and his band of merry *****.
Rivalry aside I hope you’re all keeping well, and if anyone can help change my profile name from ‘Fordingbridge Pirate’ to ‘Former Pirate’…!
Much love,

I always thought £25m would be a bidding war price but it all feels a bit everyone waiting on who twitches first.

It's a weird one this season because the 3 teams that come down would usually be in the hunt for promotion but it's difficult to see any of them doing a Burnley.
I think it's the strongest in terms of competitiveness we don't know how the 3 teams that came up will do, whether teams that reached the playoffs will stumble after falling at that hurdle.
Honestly I don't think it'll be the usual suspects at both ends of the table I think there will be 1 or 2 teams mixing it up.

Exactly, been saying it for a few years now. Their model is completely ******. It really is. It’ll come home to roost at some point, maybe even this summer as they’re currently a week away from having a pre season with 16 senior pros…
Youre much better off at Exeter/us/staying at a RTC…or even at Weston tbh. Ryan Jones is a brilliant player they picked up from Weston but tbh I think they’ll stunt him due to lack of quality coaches, Barton won’t play him so he’ll just be shunted out on NLS loans again.
I genuinely think they'll struggle this season and Jailbird Joey doesn't exactly have a reputation of developing young players... Well his clubs own young players and they don't seem to be signing 13 players soon.
I feel sorry for the person who comes in after Joey because it'll be just like Nige when he took over a complete rework from top to bottom but they probably won't be given the same amount of time as the sags need to be above us no matter what.

He wouldn't even last a month the fans would drive him out before then.

I assume Brighton are going to release their retained list today but we've been in discussions with them about compensation (given he's under 24 and assuming they offered a contact) and have come to an agreement.

I do not like that

Not sure how Man City’s hands are tied. They face charges but they are currently under no transfer restrictions.
As an aside, I read yesterday that their revenue from winning the CL was £180m in total.
We don't know what the charges will amount to. They could be placed under am embargo which would ban them from registering anyone they signed in the summer it's just a bit of a cloud over their heads at the moment.
I personally think Man City and Pep would be the best place for him just look at how he dealt with Foden.

I’d been told in January West Ham considered themselves out of the race due to bigger clubs being interested. Whether that’s still the case I don’t know.
I'd say for West Ham it all depends on Declan Rice if he does go as many suspect I think they'll be in for him.
I do think Man City are keeping an eye on it but their hands are tied with the 115 charges. Spurs may step up their interest given they are not going to get Maddison (heading to Newcastle supposedly). Wolves can't afford it. Newcastle won't need him. I think there are definitely a few interes clubs we don't know about

I don't blame him for looking elsewhere when we've offered reduced terms and if he goes he's been a fantastic servant to the club and I wish him all the best.
If he stays then absolutely great I rate him highly.

they’ll be in a rush to get those 13 new signings before pre season starts at this rate
I do wonder what they think when they look south and see 2 new players and both for more than a Tilson.
13 new signings and we all know 5-6 of them will be loans.

I'm still impressed they aren't non-league.
If they didn't get promoted in that first season I genuinely think they would still be there.

Their record signing was made so long ago, most of our section 82 weren't even born!
I still can't stop laughing when remembering that little fact.
I do wonder if there has been any other club in the top 5 tiers of English football that haven't broken their transfer record since before 1992.

So, Scottish press now reporting £2m max, not the £3m being banded around yesterday.
We will probably never know the true fee.
I'm sure when it gets officially confirmed by the club's they'll say it's £2m up front and £3m in add ons!

The small 6

He's not even picked QPR as one of the small 6 for the championship! Which I would've had also what is the basis on?
Because if it's by attendance we should be nowhere near the small 6.
