I had it all planned out to be there, working in Leeds and York over the two following days doing safety checks on some of my guys.
Then at the last minute one of them booked the day after the game off so my travel from Glos was pushed back 24 hours.
Needless to say, he did not pass his checks!

VAR as a concept and a tool is an excellent idea..........the problem's seem to lie with the Tools that operate it?
Agreed, I think the VAR system should be there for the on pitch official(s) to be able to go and look at something if his view was obscured or was a close call, not for a bloke 100 miles away not involved with proceedings to have his interpretation on what he thinks he's seen when slowed down from 20 different angles.
At worst, the 4th official should be the one steering the on pitch ref that he may want to review something.
The hand ball/penalty/no goal needs to be sorted out properly as well, take out any ambiguity.

National League related…. Scunthorpe just gone behind and if they lose today they drop to National League North.
Last season they were in League 2!

Blackburn in danger of missing out in the end of season play off lottery.

Anyway, how’s permission for that new stand coming along?
The new stadium at the FM wasn’t mentioned as part of the Temple Quay or St Phillips redevelopment on Points West tonight, so it must nearly be finished now.
Maybe that is delaying the new (non) tent at Membley.

Would seem a shame if Gavin Ward didn’t win Champagne Moment. After everything, you’d love to be a fly on the wall at the PGMOL when that award turned up in the post.
Gavin Ward got my vote!

The 3-0 revenge match v Swindle will always be one of my most memorable games of that season.
Agard, Bryan and Wilbraham. I could watch those 3 goals over and over again.
And one of the best post match interviews ever!

A bit of a star struck moment for a young CHR, Andy May lived in Dursley during his time at City, and I installed his telly and video (ask your parents kids!)

I’ve been using O’Neills kits for many years now, as my own club supply from them and I have always been happy with the quality and fit. From my keepers shirt to training gear, hoodies, etc, I can’t fault them (except for a couple of delivery delays here and there). They’ve been supplying GAA in Ireland for a long, long time, so certainly not “tinpot”. They certainly come up with some impressive designs. Badges are usually printed into the design, not embroidered or the like, but sounds like that’ll be different for us.
And, no, I don’t work for them and they don’t sponsor me.
Shhhh…. You cannot come on here with positive posts as it doesn’t fit the agenda.
They must be awful, and the huge numbers of world wide sales of our replica shirts will leave everyone disappointed as a club like ours should have bespoke kits made by Nike or Adidas.

The Post had a piece on Rovers season tickets earlier this week - rises of around 7%.
So does that mean 214,000 locked out now each gam with the 7% rise added?

We’ll be ok. Most modern stadiums come with roofs.
You’re going to need to explain a couple of things now for them;
- A stadium
- A roof

Perhaps an indication of the additional stuff we may see, as per Wycombe’s range:

Maybe it was a clause in the Anis Mehmeti deal, he only likes Oneills gear so wouldn't sign unless we changed supplier.

BittonBitter FC (based in South Glioucs) folded recently. Not the ideal venue for Rovers, but a ground that can easily accommodate their "enormous" following.
Mind you, it would take the Blue Few a bit of time to get used to such luxury.
They wouldn’t need to spend much changing the signs, or wording in the seats if there are any of course
