  1. Some good lines on the Burton forum:

Damn I forgot we were playing Barca.

I saw his autobiography in Poundland! Tells you all you need to know… I wonder when he’s bringing out his updated version.

    Oh dear, old Joey's fuming.

Well what a game! Good 3 points and getting one over that loudmouth Scouse thug... fantastic!

Have that Joey you *insert rude word of choice here*

Who on earth would pay to watch Brizzle, eh?

He deserves being badmouthed - just as I said getting his excuses in early. What a plonker.

I'd rather us come up against Fat Steve 46 times a season than encounter that horrible little scouse goblin again.

A Moderator over there saying, in 2016, they were on a par with wealthy clubs like Arsenal, Manchester United and Chelsea....................................their forum now makes complete sense.

And so does this thread, how anybody can say otherwise beggars belief.

Reliving that game of almost 50 years ago reminded me of just how much the beautiful game has evolved. These days we rarely, if ever see the goalkeeper drop kicking the ball aimlessly up the pitch. Back then they all did it.

I would have been at that game but don’t remember much about it - it’s an age thing………..:dunno:

Are you sure, I’ve checked the OS and it isn’t mentioned.?

  4. I see the myth/lies about the loyal and prowed being locked out is still going strong on asschat;

In one game we lost nearly 100k plymouth . Another 2000 muff fans at £25 would have been worth £50k. Plus our fans locked out.
We have had 4 sell outs already costing the club big money.

The BIG SIX coming are limited to just 1200 fans. We could of sold another 10000 at £ 25 to these clubs £250k. I reckon we lose up to 500k a year on limited capacity .

A merger would have to be combining the best bits of each club to make something stronger or better, I cannot think of 1 single thing the gas could offer us as the clubs have moved miles apart over recent years

    Players - no

    ground - no

    owner - no

or perhaps I am missing something that could make it worth our while

don't forget they have a nice watch
