Didn’t even notice him on the team sheet! Lovely assist - what a man. Couldn’t help but smile!

Well I assume we'll still be contracted with O'Neills, which is fine by me. A slick red home kit, a funky purple and lime away kit (since we have black this season and don't want to be samey), and maybe a nice white third kit since we haven't had white for a bit? All with the new round badge, no splats. Easy, fun, happy days.

Bought the away kit Tuesday night, it's a beautiful thing. One of my favourite kits for some time I think. 2 out of the 3 kits from O'Neills are very nice imo. And lots of clubs having trouble with Hummel...

Out of curiosity overall just how many Championship games are won by three goal margins ?
I would imagine it’s very few view the competitive nature of the division where anyone can beat anyone.Right on cue eh Major! Was thinking of our conversation last night when the goals were flying in.

Long season ahead and I’m sure he knows he’s got the backing of the fans. We’ll see some Mehmeti magic before too long.

I considered starting a new thread - ‘our best chance since 17/18’ - then realised I’d be going way too early.
But what’s really filling me with confidence isn’t the many chances we’re creating (granted before last night we were missing them!) - it’s at the other end of the pitch.
In Dickie (the ‘big wall’ type), Naismith (the passer who can certainly put a tackle in when needed) and Vyner MkII (what’s even left to say about Zak - what a defender), as well as industrious hard working full backs and Jamo shielding the lot of them… we’re keeping the ball out our net. This is the best defence we’ve had, imo, since Kalas/Webster. If they maintain this level, who knows where we land come May.
Good strikers win games… good defenders win trophies.

Really eventful match with talking points aplenty - but a couple of ropey defensive moments aside we absolutely schooled them. Bell and Sykes continue to look like top-end Championship wingers, and tonight we finally turned all that xG into a goal-fest.
How satisfying is it to play a recently promoted team and really make them look like one! Well done Nige and the boys. Excellent night ️

We’re back online! That’s a relief. As is coming through yesterday’s comfortable win with no new knocks. Plymouth - welcome to the Championship! Well done our lads ️

I really like the lad. He’s affecting every game he’s in, may be in line for a start before too long (though Nahki is working his balls off centrally tbf).

This is my first time in since the match yesterday. Couldn’t load OTIB on phone or work computer. Most productive day at work in about 6 years.

One change to the MD20, as eligible again Gardner-Hickman takes a spot on the bench at the expense of Knight-Lebel. Weimann’s expected return is delayed, hopefully just further caution.

Would be lovely to thrash them. Ultimately if we win, I don't really care how, but we're really not a team for handing out a pasting. I'd imagine we're well below the league average for wins by a 3+ margin over the past few years, our games are almost always tight.

Ok Graham thanks for playing!

As soon as seeing this thread was hot I fully assumed Han-Noah had come on for Burnley and scored with his first touch.
Not in the squad as it turns out, but wouldn’t that have been vintage Bristol City?

I don’t think I’d change the back 4 off the back of a clean sheet and the midfield is thin so no changes there, injury allowing. Bell and Sykes both very dangerous so they stay. The one change I’d consider is giving Cornick a start centrally over Nahki. I think he gives us something different and many fans have turned far too quickly on him.

Nothing new today, a few bumps and bruises as ever but nothing that should affect Tuesday. It’s a good point, WBA are never to be taken lightly. It’ll be a better point if we can follow it up with a first league win at AG this season in 3 days time ️

WBA, always full of star quality, and we took a point where we struggle - at the Gate.
Yes we shoulda took a lead in the first half but probably shoulda conceded in the second so. Credit to the defence and Max today on a big clean sheet.

Two new names from the Matchday squad that played Swansea, as we name a full 20 (we named 19 Vs Swansea), and as TGH misses out through ineligibility.
The two in are Knight-Lebel and Nelson, who take spots on the bench. Nelson’s a new one to me, exciting!

Disappointing but not surprising. It seemed a little too good to be true when the WBA match was earmarked for his return, given it's a reoccurrence of an ongoing thing.

I think he means that this is when the minutes will be published and there will likely be a thread discussing those?
They've explained before that they give the club 24h advance notice of what is being published in the minutes.
Ah I see. @phantom is this what you meant? A laugh react gets me nowhere!

Just feedback from Wednesdays meeting with the club
I don't think vague teasers can be considered feedback if you've been given info you can't divulge (which I don't really get considering you represent a supporters group), I think you're best off saying nothing until you can say everything, just for the sake of peoples sanity
