Not painting a great picture of yourself here.

Sounds like their boy Wally, who they had on their shoulders, has sold them down the river !

When LM first jointed I posted a few times that I didn't think JL and BT quite knew what they were getting with LM.
To a lot of us it was quite clear that in this moment in time, he didn't quite suit what we have here. Others assured me that it could be fine. He would adapt to us etc.
I think there has also been an element of he didn't realise what we had here either.
To a certain extent I think he has adapted so credit for that. He's admitted publicly that he's had to role back on the information he gives the players.
Whilst I wouldn't want to see LM sacked at this current moment in time, I suppose I'm of the view of being quite sceptical about allowing him to overhaul this squad. The squad is decent. It shouldn't need an overhaul.
My worry is we overhaul the squad to suit Manning and then that still doesn't yield improvements and then we look back and think oh ****, we ripped up a decent squad for nothing.
I do agree in the fact that we should now be sprinkling the stardust to take us to the next level. I’ve a feeling though we’ll be ripping up the copybook and almost starting again.

Clearly filling the gaps we have within the current youth players group, recognising there is no one in the pipeline that is deemed able to meet the level. The sort of signing we should be making as a club, some will work, many won't, but this is where we have been more successful in the last years. We will all enjoy following his journey and development.
I thought though that our “top 6 squad” would be supplemented by the next batch of youngsters that were supposed to be “even better” ?

Just at the part where it was suggested we drop Knight and throw McCrorie into a midfield 3 for the Forest game.

7 for Vyner and Dickie is harsh
Didn’t think Zak or Max were particularly comfortable this evening.
Impressed with Tanner who stuck to his task well and thought TGH was superb.

Seems I’m in the minority. Countless times I feal he chose the wrong option. Got on the ball enough but just needs to give the easy pass instead of running into trouble.
I think you are spot on.
Travelled with the ball very well before not seeing the correct ball or running into a crowded area. Appears to run with his head down and isn’t seeing the full picture.
Defensively, his levels need to improve. No wonder Cam looked shagged.

Do people think we would’ve gone for Twine in addition to Azaz? Or one or the other?

I hope we aren’t being lured in to overpaying here out of desperation.
Of course, I want the board to back the manager but I don’t want to see us back where we were. All previous work could be undone here so quickly out of JL/BT vanity.

Awful set piece deliveries. F********k !!!

Got to wonder why Keane didn’t start. Always looks a threat against us.
Vyner. Static.

We are all over the place here.

Anyone is worth considering, given our clear need to bring players in

Depends if we are planning on creating a bit more him or playing him in a two.

What a weird post.
I agree with him, Conway is isolated. The sooner we have reinforcements to change the system/better forward quality the better.

Superb save from Max. Keane is always a threat.

Long shot but if anyone has a spare ticket for sale please PM me.
My wife and I are both members, but I found out today that both memberships are in MY name, which meant I could only buy one ticket. I was on the phone queue for 90 minutes and then cut off when it sold out.
If anyone finds they can’t make it then I’d be really grateful if you could bear me in mind.
Of course I’m aware there will be loads like me, so I’m not holding my breath - it’s a very long shot!!
I had the same situation and it was 1 hour 47 minutes on the phone trying to resolve. Chap was incredibly helpful but that amount of time is ridiculous.

I'll give my perspective on this.
They are very much 'in' with the club and therefore their opinions may not be as independent as you would like on a podcast. For example they seemed quite desperate to get Conway to criticise the previous regime and praise the current regime.
Due to how they have positioned themselves within the club there is always a reluctance from them to call the club out on things because they don't want to lose the perks they get such as being able to get the likes on Conway on their pod.
Whilst on the other pod Ian is a bit of an idiot at least the opinions are independent and they are not afraid to call the club out on things. Personally I respect people who do that.
You won't ever hear any controversial opinions on 3piap in my opinion. Probably the furthest they will ever go is criticising team selections and performances but anything to do with the running of the club they won't say anything controversial. They do like to keep making passive digs at Pearson tho which probably earns a few more gold stars.
I understand they lean towards the club, however the constant jibes are pretty pathetic. There have been passive digs at Pearson on FBC.
Plus, Ian Gay has a direct line to both Steve and Jon doesn’t he?- 1

Controlled large parts of the game, especially first half. Limited in the final third though. Very pretty outside of that I agree.
