  1. Why would the club charge away supporters less than home supporters ? Unless they also decrease the cost for home supporters in a similar stand (South stand) to £20, I can't see the sense in it. Burnley have a similar scheme costing £25 which is closer to reality/parity imo.
  2. As of June 1st, Bears had sold 9.5k season cards. Just saying..
  3. I thought he was still a St. Etienne player on loan at Pau and would fly from paris. But I was mistaken, he signed for Pau on a free transfer. Keep up 01..
  4. With all the Paris flights that have been cancelled over the last couple of weeks, you may not be too far from the truth !
  5. Bless 'em. Give 'em a patronising smile and a pat on the head. Its all they want, a little bit of attention.
  6. He is inheriting a mess, both on and off the pitch. Given their problems, and the fact they've been in relegation scraps for the last 6 seasons, they must be due the drop this season. Last six seasons - 20th, 18th, 20th, 17th, 19th, 19th.
  7. Another season of relegation worries ? Not sure of the actual squad, but their transfer dealings so far aren't that good; In Finley Thorndike (free, Aston Villa) Out Fran Villalba (undisclosed, Sporting Gijon) Jeremie Bela (released) Renedi Masampu (released) Kristian Pedersen (free, FC Koln) Kane Thompson-Sommers (released) Connal Trueman (released) Yoane Zohore (released) Ivan Sanchez (undisclosed, Real Valladolid)
  8. Certainly looks a bit camp in that pic..

Not a nightmare, I've watched all the games and that is how he is. He doesn't pass, plays for himself and shirks a tackle. That singular chance that England had, I'd need to see it again, but it looked like a simple pass to his right and it was a good chance. Not impressed at all by him. The England number 8 looks as if he's given up and needs a kick up the arse half time, he's ambling around doing **** all.
  10. True, I have two mates from there and get them tickets when Boro are visiting.
  11. Indeed. I can't remember travelling by rail in this country for donkeys years (other than the occasional local journey from Keynsham to BTM). Disgraceful prices and shite service. There is no comparison to the services in Germany, Switzerland, Italy, etc, where it is clean, cheap, and you get a seat. Anyway, £180 to Boro is £360 for me and the Mrs which is just ridiculous, even if split or purchasing rail cards its still a major rip off. By car its about £120 depending on the model of the car, chuck in an overnight stay and its still cheaper than the rail cost - but still far too expensive. I won't be partaking in the delights of Middlesbrough this season, although we stayed in Hartlepool marina last time (Premier Inn) which was good and only £35 at that time.
  12. I think he said he felt wanted at Cambridge, bit of a difference. No fee, big sell on.
  13. Given the current financial climate, I'd be surprised if Boro will maintain their 2260 average away supporters this season. Brilliant support to get that many last season given their location.
  14. That was nice to see, poor bloke was really struggling.
  15. He may be a bit like Sam Pearson when he went on loan to Inverness - "yeah great....where is it" ? If so, he's got a shock coming.

Take that away and you are chipping at the player. Same for Joe Williams.

hopefully, the manager will play his best team from the start for this match. That means Scott starting.

Hopefully, he's not up to this level imo.

England clearly second best so far. Norton-Cuffy a liability.

We'll that's a disappointment. Hopefully, he'll get some meaningful minutes. 4pm kick off.
