Yes, I knew. A good opportunity for him.
Probably even fewer people know that Alex Scott is also eligible to play for Wales...
Isn’t Scott, as a British Isles citizen, eligible for all four British nations?

It is Conor Gallagher which baffles me
Just dont get the hype
Shocked that he even gets into the Chelsea team
No matter how you rate the player, how an earth does it “baffle” you.
Captains one of the biggest British clubs week in, week out.

I think you are missing the point. Nobody is surprised, yep it happens all the time. But it also, as per my post below, continue to show a disconnect with their misaligned drip-fed reasoning for sacking Nige.
I’m sure he was aware, and fairly compensated, that he was to be here for only 1 or 2 games.

I understand the complexity of the structure SL has set up (thanks for posting the chart btw) but the asset is owned by Ashton Gate Ltd, a separate entity to Bristol City Football Club with a different board of directors. As you pointed out there is no doubt in my mind (or legally) who owns Ashton Gate Stadium and it aint the football club.
But yes, I agree that it all comes down to who owns (majority shareholder) all the companies in the group which is ultimately SL. In that respect, it could be seen as one organisation. But that could all change if SL sells the lot and if he does I hope there are covenants or such like to protect the football club and stadium/HPC.
No it isn't difficult.
Ashton Gate is legally owned by Ashton Gate Ltd.
Which is legally owned by Bristol City Holding ltd. That is the company that both the FA and EFL consider our football club.

No.
Ashton Gate is not owned by the football club and hasn't been for a long time.
It is owned by Ashton Gate Ltd.
Which is owned by Bristol City Holdings. Ain’t difficult.

I really don’t like the fact that the football club doesn’t own its own stadium any more. We are reliant on current and future owners to do the right thing. Before SL sells I would want him to protect the Football Club from the possibility that it could be held to ransom for access or use of its own historical stadium. I think Ken Bates did something along those lines for Chelsea fans when h gave the Chelsea fans voting rights on the use and future development of Stamford Bridge befit he sold the Club
Can anyone on this ******* forum read.

Still completely baffled by the half a dozen or so posters who have joined OTIB in the last two days & are suddenly complete experts on us & the rest of the Championship.
Am I the only one?
A appear to struggle with spelling and punctuation. Now, if anyone has looked through old Brian’s Twitter, they’ll realise…

… are the Lansdowns selling the whole Bristol Sport empire, or just Bristol City Football Club?
If it’s just the club then we presumably will have to rent Ashton Gate from Bristol Sport?
That’s not a good thing. We could end up like Coventry and their Ricoh ground.
Oh **** off

If SL were to sell (as he keeps mentioning), what exactly is he selling?
Surely BCFC on its own is not very attractive option as we don't own the stadium, or do you think he is looking for someone to take over the whole Bristol Sport operation that includes Football, Rugby, Basketball, Women Football etc..?
Genuinely don't know what he is selling, and what the potential buyer would get.
Any help to clarify would be appreciatedHOW MANY TIMES?????
He’d be selling Bristol City Holding ltd, who do in-fact own the stadium.

Can we have a list of suspect posters, or recently banned members?

Nige literally said that Roberts will be fine for the weekend.
Tanner is one I don’t understand. Was initially only meant be a a couple of weeks.

Yes, I did say in my original comment that I don’t believe he is in any way responsible for his injuries.
But his record since being with us isn’t great. At some point someone has to ask the question whether he would be better suited to football of a lesser intensity.
He started every league game this season, before yesterday.
