Pogba probably climbed into his pocket with a duvet and nice hot cup of cocoa
Pogba is a shocking player. Hes the definition of someone who loves being a footballer rather than loves playing the game… quite a lot of that french team have the same issue.

Now deduct the points we have fought back from losing positions and where are we? Cant have it both ways I'm afraid.
I dont think 2 extra points will make much of a difference

As to last summers signings, they were, quite reasonably, more about stamping his authority and putting down a clear marker as to his demanding style and expectations, than boosting the squad with style and potential. What better way to inform the dressing room than a few players who knew and responded to him at Leicester. That he was able to do so on the cheap was then the reason it happened. So I thought NP was on the money last year. The critical problem is that there’s no money this summer, so it’s vital we buy a couple well and hold onto Sem. , Scott and HM.
The leicester players were high quality, but it was 6/7 years ago that team went together. There was an obvious risk with the simpson and king signjngs, and james has had long term injuries too. Baker was always going to be a risk, atkinson was initially in favour, then dropped, now no one knows whats happening, and tanner was a league 2 right back who might or might not turn into a good signing, but was cheap enough to take a risk on.
weimann has been fantastic, but several of those signings were clearly questionable at the time.

They have also given english football 2 of the most influential figures in its history.

Have to say that like him or not, rooney has done an amazing job there, pulling that around was practically impossible.

Surprise, surprise. Moron makes moronic comparison.
Its not moronic, and you are out of line. Some bloke has a different opinion to you, thats all. Forest are on a hell of a run while the good ship bristol city stumbles along with top earning players rarely playing and most of our midfield being injured, and no one able to organise and defend a set piece, so that business as usual for us.

Played in 5 different positions at the club. That hasn’t helped. I’m not one to go over stats but it is interesting how so many (appreciate not you) say he’s awful and yet he keeps getting picked for club and country
To be fair, ireland are pretty awful these days, and any pro playing in the english leagues is likely to play for them

Just watched the goals,is anyone seriously blaming Max for any of them?
I am. 2 of those 3 hes stuck on his line. Again. Why doesnt he try coming off it and you know, try and catch it? Even a punch could be attempted, but he apparently is unwilling to give it a try…. Hes in his mid 20s now, not a teenager anymore, hes finally got his chance, and we look worse than before

I remember walking into a room with rob and some other city players as a young lad with my city autograph book on an open day and asking for his signature… scared the bejesus out of me cause he was massive!! Absolutely a club legend though, great player for us

Good luck to him, hopefully he remains in good health going forwards

Weimann is key for us and probably exceeded all expectations this season, but the reason hes not in the premier league is is his touch can be a little”loose”,, that open goal is an example of what i mean… he can finish, but that instinct doesnt come naturally. Like with someone like tammy ( different levels obviously).
superb athlete though, which makes him important to us

Did walsh play in a cup final in turkey?

Surely pearson, as a premier league centre back in his playing days and experienced manager ought to be having an input on how we set up defensively?

If as it seems Pearson doesn't fancy Bentley then apart from anything else we need a keeper for next season.
And 2 centre backs, a centre midfielder who stays fit, another right back and 2 strikers please!

Because by resorting to max it’s a safe guess to say Pearson doesn’t fancy Bentley for whatever reason.
For all our good play we are undone by weakness at the back we need a proper keeper to come and claim crosses which we haven’t had since Nikki
How hard can it be for a championship keeper to come and sort out crosses!

Oh well….
get bentley in

And if we could he seems to be in the same situation as bakinson,, bombed out regardless of what our situation is.
