I'd suggest it's a player that has his eye on the season after.
That's not hard to make that ascertain is it.
Again. Why would a manager want to play a player that already has his eye on the future?
What makes you think his mind is on next season? He may want to move on when his contact expires but that doesn’t mean he’s not committed this season. I’m sure if he’s called upon and NP plays him, he’ll give his all…. Unlike the waste of space we had ip front a season or two ago.

As funny as it is, he didn’t stop it on the line first.

Was a bloody terrible referee but a brilliant showman. Absolutely part of the furniture around Whitchurch and will be sorely missed. RIP Stoney.

I'm not mad keen on the concept of changing a large chunk of the team- pre-season or not, the final preparation for Hull and vs a newly promoted PL side at that away from home. Good experience for younger players too of course but- I just want to win every game I guess!
I think regardless of the result now, it will feel like a win a good performance for the starting 11.

Great management....claim a 1-0 win when the "real" teams were out there and the rest of the match is a dead rubber unless we win 2-0.
Just now, SBB said:Any goals after the subs don’t count.
Exactly.

Good save Bentley from Moore. Can see them winning this now with our youngsters on.

I played for the previous iteration of Ashton & Backwell so a bit of a soft spot and will be rooting for them.

If I put any more topics on ignore I’ll see the Lansbury has officially signed thread again, soon.

I just can’t see it appealing to him. Fulham, Palace, West Ham, Brentford or Bournemouth then of course but moving up north to Boro, not being on the type of wages he could command and all in the hope they get promoted?
I think he’s destined for great things and those great things are much, much greater than Middlesbrough, at the moment.- 5

I am gutted to lose one of our young talents too. I am sure Sheff Wednesday are getting a bargain.
Nope, they’re getting Bakinson.

He’s a unit. Played in one of the pre-season games for us last season, then went on loan to Eastleigh.
Runs in the family. His Dad wasn’t small and neither his Grandad.

Okay, fair one, it was me. Don't worry, this isn't a Gashead infiltrating, just a Gashead who has signed up to set the record straight. Born in Eastville, then joined the Army in '77 and met a Sussex lass. Now support The Gas and Lewes FC where I volunteer on the SC Committee, do stewarding and maintenance.
At the end of last season the match board was still showing the final game so I was asked to clear it. The temptation was too great. No offence intended, just a bit of banter. I never expected it to be seen outside of Lewes. In fact, being on a no-through-road, it was only likely to be seen by people on their way to the council tip. It's come down now. As it happened, a lass from your women's team was coming for a look round and diplomacy prevailed.
On the back wall of the main stand are just over 70 scarves from around the world. Rovers and City are represented. Rovers prominently, City maybe less so, but that's what happens when a Gashead puts the scarves up .
Anyway, good luck for the season. Please don't get relegated, then we can have a couple of derbys when we come up for the 23/24 season.

Ha'way! I've been havin' a canny time down the shipyard and would love me a discount to the Blaydon Races.
Kids, check who you are sharing your codes with!
Good point.
I have a spare code, PM me.
I’m going to need to know -
a) which part of Sunderland Til I Die made you laugh the most?
b) What is your favourite part of our 2017/18 training kit?

Any update on Bakinson? Can’t see that he was in Austria with the others.
Training with the 23s. Still a glimmer that Ipswich take him.

Typo. Trying to text while driving
Possibly the worst autocorrect of all time.
That will teach me to take my glove off at the driving range.
