No he didn’t. I lived next door to him in an apartment on Welsh back but as @W-S-M Seagull has said, he would spend most of his time back in Chesterfield.

What a great bloke Gerken is. I remember being in my early teens, me and my mates were going to buy some away tickets from the ground. 

Gerken walked past us, and asked us how we were and what we were up to. Once we said that we were getting away tickets, he asked how many we needed. He gave us all (6 of us) tickets for free.

That’s because players don’t need/want their away comps  home tickets a different matter, like rabid animals fighting over them!

During the last two wins we have used 1 new player. Naismith is great and makes a difference but we could have seen this style of football so much earlier. Keep in mind we have been down two of our best players from last season as well. 

Absolutely nothing in your first paragraph is true though, is it? NP sent a message all of last season just to go against it after 3 games this season?

I couldn’t off the top of my head. Most aren’t regular contributors and that’s part of my annoyance. No problem with those who are critical of the team or NP because most can also appreciate when we play well and are happy to say so. Only coming out when we lose and in some cases, probably creating accounts purely to moan is just odd, to me.

Best way to reduce the moaning is total tumbleweed, no response at all to anything negative. Reason and logic and facts in response to when people are feeling emotionally disturbed in the immediate aftermath of defeat (and late surrender of one point or three) is worse than useless, it's counter-productive.

I never promised value in the title or my OP. Merely calling out “supporters” who are strangely absent during the good results but are prominent during the bad. Not that difficult a concept to grasp really.

It wasn’t any fault of Hull though. They shouldn’t be punished for the inadequacies of the referee, the referee should be. 
I’d like to see a league table for professional referees and have their performances in black and white stats for all to see. They are paid extremely well so should absolutely be under pressure to perform and get decisions correct.

Wasn’t aimed at you or the pod in particular, more a general statement about those who are missing all pre season but turn up at the first bad result. The same ones who then disappear and strangely never seem to celebrate or have anything positive to say, when we win. 

So quick to criticise when we don’t get a result, calling for the managers head….. but conspicuous by their absence when we do. See you all again when you decide to crawl back out on those jerky hands and knees.

It’s definitely a red. Such a shame as he was a big part of us keeping the ball so well. Someone else now gets a chance. 

Had his hands full with Adebayo and dealt with him extremely well. Cruyff turn on the touch line had me clenching but great performance. 

Really really good tonight, on and off the ball and a brilliant clean sheet. Could quite easily have been 4 or 5 without the red card.
