Try following that advice yourself Sheltons Army enjoy wiping Egg off your face - Chippenham Red "Just catching up, been out all day and wasn’t at the game. If ever there was an unwelcome three points, it sounds like it might have been today. I worry these sort of empty victories just buy Manning more time to do more damage."

There are still 9 games left, if we finish in the top half it will be the first time since LJ left and will be seen as a success. Nobody's going to be sacked this season. Why try and pre-judge failure that hasn't happened yet?
Try actually opening your eyes

Yet another reason to hate Pulis. Because he is always held up as some sort of benchmark. "Nothing can be that bad, because Pulis was worse".
I sat through the Pulis era, and it doesn't seem to me that this bloke is much better.
Say what you like about Pulis, the football may have been as boring as what we have now, but the bloke certainly wasn't.
That’s what the defence has descended too
’Well.....what about under Pulis’

Pointless reply if all "fans" do is moan go glory hunt elsewhere.
Get someone to explain to you.
Will await all your positives
If you have been a City fan as long as I have or many others you could never be classed as a glory hunter
What a completely laughable comment superfan

So it was a poor crowd today ( Mother’s Day rather than fans staying away maybe). Poor performance but 3 points closer to safety. Give Manning a chance, let him see out the season and have a dozen games next season, hopefully after a decent transfer window.
Yes we have had some clowns managing us in the last 5 or 6 years, Pearson being the exception, but as difficult as it is to be patient we must give Manning a good run, especially as people have been on his back since Pearsons unwanted departure.
Realistically what’s the alternative ?
That’s it
Lets humble forward with blind faith
Spend money on ‘Manning players’ , get rid of the experience , and if it continues in current signs , sack him and......
Shrug our shoulders I guess
Seems a clear plan that

Meanwhile I’ve just been reading comments on a Swansea forum, praising Manning for doing a job on them and wishing they’d appointed him!

The low turnout today was mainly due to ST holders staying home for mother's day, should be back to normal by next game

Could you please elaborate what Manning said? Especially having a pop at fanbase. Thats very daring of him if so.
He definitely talked about ‘the negativity around at the moment’

They missed the target because O'Leary was so well positioned they didn't have much to aim at? Do you count it when we miss too?

Doesn’t he get a chance with his own players not NPs choices, and ex players?
So if that ‘chance’ (Based on mere ‘blind hope’ right now) fails and we are forced to change
We’d then have a mix of his players and ‘someone elses’ - Recruited for different styles , for someone else
Does that appeal to you ?

Good , and important topic IMO
Like a few others I’ve said this is one of my biggest concerns going into next year
Nit only are we looking likely to be missing a number of what I believe ‘better’ players , but some significant experienced characters and pros who are to a large degree worthy of the same credit as NP himself for the decent things that were happening on the playing side.
I don’t see us replacing with similar in terms of age or experience
I guess it depends whether you believe how vital that experience and those culture setters are , or some sort of belief that in the ‘modern game’ its not so vital
Personally I’m absolutely in the former - Absolutely vital IMO
Not that easy to find and I don’t think we will go that way either.
