I would have thought it's obvious that someone who has worked within a business for years and still has involvement in various capacities has a lot more knowledge of the running of the club and what's been achieved
I know you are secretary for the SL appreciation society
But that’s severe straw clutching
What he has or hasn’t achieved is quite transparent

Well being an ex player knowing the people and what goes on within the club and still involved in a number of different ways will give him much more inside knowledge.
Fans only get a tiny snapshot of what goes on within the club and therfore litle understanding other than what gets touted on social media
Inside knowledge of what possibly ?
What , that would show , that’s not already visible or tangible about what they’ve done for this Club ?

Yes, WTF!
That made me really angry. Listening to all the cliched platitudes on Radio Bristol driving back to London, no wonder we never get anywhere.
I did think the Radio Bris guy interviewing LM was good. Asked some probing questions, I think usually commentates on The Gas
Agree Max , asked a few more difficult questions than the normal wet interviewers

Wtf are you on?
If you read the responses of various posters , you may get a whiff of ‘what I’m on’ or on about
The fact that you appear oblivious as to why I and others have responded in the way they have, is ..... well..... quite bizarre tbhHave a double Wow

It's pretty clear that "they" never had the fanbase. Like Rome of old the legion's loyalty, such as it was, was to the General rather than the Senate.
Those fans who felt connected to the Club when Pearson was around felt so, from what I read and hear, because of him.
So, they "lost" the fanbase when they switched. Manning's only chance to capture that loyalty for himself was a rampant run of wins. Which has not materialised.
Way , way too dramatic
For me , and I’d suggest the majority ,
merely not to break it and continue to make steady progress to a transparent and consistent plan- 3

Today he showed what a bullshitting mofo he is.
In post match interviews he's said he wants the players to play to his plans and processes...and in the same breath said they weren't brave enough, didn't play with freedom or didn't express themselves. Which apparently he had told them to do...wtf...complete opposites. No wonder we are ******. Blokes a clown.
It was slightly bizarre Spud because what he actually said was that it was their (coaching staff) work with the players that got them (the players) into the final third and then it is for players to show bravery and ingenuity etc at that point
So taking credit for the ability (depending on your view whether that’s accurate) to play through the thirds but distancing himself from the ability to create chances and score goals

What a sad ***** doing that for a few likes. Good job he’s in public otherwise Diedhiou would’ve torn him a new one
Have to say credit to Famara , he was remarkably controlled and behaved , 10/10 fair play
Shame he didnt flatten him mind

Somebody’s just told Jon & circle that the fanbase is lost
Gavin is straight on the calculator , whilst Liam searches his data archives for anything ‘fan base’ related
Brian is looking under the settee in the board room and Jon has looked up told everyone to ‘calm down’ and that he will ‘ design and draw them a new one ‘

Not a great fan of Famara , but that’s completely embarrassing and completely out of order

You ask to be taken seriously .....
Weekly like a broken record everything critical and anti Pearson.... not a smidgen of recognition or praise at any point
And then you produce this

I have a feeling that Manning and Tinnion will leave the club this week. JL won't want to take responsibility, so he'll lay this all at Tinnion's door, and say he has to act. The only way we can sack Manning, is if Tinnion is sacked as well. I think Lansdown ill take action by Monday morning.
If it gets so hot that someone’s going to have to take a bullet for all this Liam will shrug his shoulders and say simply ‘processes’ , Brian will go bright red , Jon will wobble and go for a whisper with Brian , in the corner and the decision .....made........
’Gavin.......can we have a word......’

I’m out of likes but that is an excellent post and I couldn’t agree more. Plenty of people talk about it “getting toxic” but it rarely does and that needs to change IMO.
Surely, BT in particular is who ‘around’ , and out and about locally is almost certainly going to feel some heat or the current mood
Going by their stuttering , blustering and BTs visible blood pressure , to the post NP sacking period I’m not sure they are going to feel very comfortable right at the present time.
Unforunately that resolves zilch

Yep, we might not be been a top 6 “class”, but we weren’t “bottom half” either.
And the signs of ‘damage’ are looking more widespread and far reaching than the current run if results
I’m particularly thinking of things like Players contentment , likely overhaul , and overall feel at the Club generally

Passion has surely got to be a key ingredient of any manager/coach. Yet Manning seems devoid of both. How he can show none and pass an interview shows if it needed to just how unfit the Lansdowns are to make any football decisions. And how the ones they have made continues erode our management and team. This can only go one way and that is relegation this year or next. And by then the Lansdowns will have eroded the fan base as well.
Tell you what in one very basic way
Which is likely to produce more from a player
A word , a grin , laugh and bear hug around the shoulder around the training ground which appeared a very regular occurrence under a certain manager
A chat with , or technical session by Liam

I can acknowledge we've lost progress compared to where we were under Pearson to now but where we were under Pearson was quite clear after 3 years; midtable and we were never going to get promoted even if we were to give Pearson another 10 years.
I won’t bother with most of your post but , a ridiculous thing to say as you , I nor anyone else knows
And it would have been at the least interesting to see what happened if we backed him ehhhh
I’d also suggest your ‘showed ambition’ was actually.... ‘know better’
You reflect that

And I think that bolded bit is the big deal. We know this lot will run through brick walls. We know we rooted out the bad apples. That’s one of the reasons we know when Liam deflects onto the players it’s totally wrong. Yes, they may think he’s a charlatan - and they’re not alone - but they are fundamentally an “honest” bunch. We know that - we’ve seen that. So the tactic of “it’s not me it’s them” and whining like a (quote) roosy-poo punk ass bitch won’t work.
I think it was their quality he shot a few bullets at Silv
Basically suggesting flaws in learning or producing from his plan.
I thought it was a post match with Alarm Bells Sounding
Class 4g have wholly averaged grade B results in exams for the last 2 years
Since the new teacher arrived they’ve been trending B- to C
The new teacher has explained this is because the students in 4g aren't clever enough to understand his teaching

Thanks Mark.
Was it the sight of Andy King on the team sheet?
I understand it was carrying in Tinnions Bags from the car
The bags were unusually heavy as they contained the only copies of the footballing philosophy and plan which he was hoping to quietly dispose of into a food skip

I felt like under Pearson we probably needed a few more to be good enough for playoffs. Under Manning I honestly feel like we need a whole new squad to play his style.
Some evidence that ‘his stye’ may actually be worth investing to such a degree , and produce something might be good
They've literally lost the fan base...

There was always a widespread belief in the game , coming from those involved that players , largely ‘played for the manager’
Its not quite as simple as that but
Just saying
