  1. Sorry, my quoting replies have gone to pot since I got a new phone! Keeps jumping all over the place and not letting me type what I want. Management level 2 in SFBB food preparation. I'm not saying that it's not FP, but it would be a very quick reaction if it was. It's far more usual for it to take several hours, if not a couple of days.
  2. Her prognosis is probably more accurate than mine, although I am qualified to Management level 2
  3. Yes, of course it could be - but it would be more unlikely than likely for food poisoning to kick in as quickly as that. Especially with the early kick off time meaning food has less time to sit around after preparation. It would be extremely negligent if food hygiene safe practise hadn't been adhered to at an outlet such as Ashton gate - of course not impossible - but unlikely.
  4. Food poisoning doesn't usually take effect for several hours, if not a day or so - so someone being sick at half time, after a pre-match sausage is unlikely to be as a result of food poisoning. It's far more likely that the household had contracted some sort of bug or virus - which they are probably now responsible for passing on to others - although, of course, they wouldn't have know it if they were feeling fine before the game.
  5. Thank God our current managers record is better than that God awful period..... ... oh!
  6. Interesting recollections of a dire period (Liverpool FA Cup games aside, of course) It makes you wonder thoughwith that utterly dire squad and his lack of management skills, how he managed a record no worse than of the bloke who's currently in charge here.! And yes, the booing when he scored was directly related to his decision to release Jacki.
  7. Not too bothered about the gap between us & those above us. It's those below us that are the main concern. If we can't win games, then we are going to have to hope that the teams below us aren't able to make us pay for it. It is way too close for comfort at the moment.!
  8. It's far more to do with who's in the stadium, than the stadium itself. The whole acoustic excuse is never shown up better than at Ashton Gate, where when it was the home end, everyone complained that the acoustics the Atyeo stand were rubbish..... Now it's the away end, that outings us every home game and it's the acoustics in the South stand that are the problem & people wish it was more like the Atyeo stand..! It's all nonsense and if people sing, it makes more noise than if they don't..! (Yes, I'm aware that acoustics are an actual thing.!)
  9. If it is, then I look forward to them telling national media journalists about it and then complaining to the FA about any club that has the audacity to offer it..! Surely it's worth us bidding for him - just for the utter meltdown it would cause, again.! Can you even imagine if we did it again..! Ha ha.! Wouldn't effect our FFP position either. Treble his wages and just cancel the Radio times subscription to cover it.
  10. If you don't count the trophies that he's won at Man City, then you'd have to say that Pep has generally been a bit of a failure and failed to win any trophies there..!
  11. Did we really dominate the game in "all areas" against a team that had more possession, more efforts at goal (albeit none that tested our keeper) more passes, more completed passes, more attacks & more dangerous attacks, than we did..? It's a welcome, battling point, and refreshing to manage a clean sheet - but I think you may be over egging the overall dominance somewhat.!

    Blackburn!

Wow..! Some of those games, yes, I'll agree we deserved more than we got, but certainly not all of them! Deserved more based on what, exactly.?! Now, for balance - look at the games where we have been fortunate to have won (shouldn't take very long!) And also games where we've picked up a point, when the other team will feel hard done by...... I'd suggest that it will, at best, "even itself out" or at worst, actually add up to us being better off than we perhaps deserve to be. To think we deserved more from Burnley & Wigan & Stoke & Coventry certainly doesn't tally with my recollection of those games. The only games that stand out as probably having deserved better than we got would be the defeats against Norwich & Sheff Utd.
  13. What an odd post. I've not seen anyone saying that he's lost the dressing room... There must be though, for you to focus on that. All I've heard are people (rightly) questioning his selections & fed up of one of the worst managerial records, over nearly 2 years, that any manager has had here. Tony Pulis & Russell Osman had no worse a record & they got hell of a lot more stick that NP has has aimed at him.
  14. I don't think that is unusual of any fan base who's manager has one of the worst records in our very modest history - especially when he makes the team selections, substitutions & plays players out of position, like he regularly does. Of course, no manager should ever pander to the opinion of supporters - but when he's making such a hash of the job himself, you can't blame fans for trying to point out the bleedin' obvious, before it's too late and we are relegated, with a squad than imho should at least be comfortably good enough to be well clear of any danger.
  15. I think therein lies the problem. Since NP has been here, we've become "satisfied" by the odd good result & the 2 times we've managed a "mini-run" consisting of 4 games & then 6 games, earlier this season have somewhat disguised the fact of how woeful we've been under him. Klose was a good signing & earned his longer stay here - but we didn't really improve overall with him.
  16. At the end of January, we were 16th in the league. We finished the season below that. What improvement..?
  17. Great to hear! Well done for winning the biggest of all battles & congratulations. No side note on this post, because you happen to support your rabble of shite - that is something which can't be cured..! All the best to you & wishing you a healthy new year.
  18. No..! It's cold, wet & windy. It's us that are shit. We can't blame the weather for being that way in late December - it's just doing it's job. It's us that aren't doing ours.
  19. Surely given the week known restrictions on us financially, there can be no doubt whatsoever that an absolute minimum expectation is to maintain our Championship status - so minimum that it can't even have been mentioned publicly at the time of his appointment. Wiemann saved him from that being an issue last season, but now he's apparently our first choice RWB (above the RWB's bought in by NP) we don't have him getting us off the hook and would anyone bet any significant money on us being assured of not going down..? It would be a brave person to bet anything meaningful on it, at the moment.
  20. I'd like to say it was me being ridiculous... but sadly, it's exactly what we've come to expect over the last 22 months.
  21. Not when I think about our next game & what NP has in store for us, no. You..?
  22. Old enough to remember how diabolical we were under Tony Pulis. Arguably the worst, most unpopular manager we've had..? Was particularly depressing comparing his record with NP's earlier on today..!
