  1. Maybe... I thought they lost a few. Regardless - a 2-0 home win against Luton Town is not a result worthy of clinging onto as a sign of hope, as we plumet towards the relegation zone, after (what is it now..?) 3 wins in 17/18 games...? And it's not been concerning for just those 17/18 games. It's been concerning for almost 2 years now with a 6 games spell of hope that has since long been shown to have been an anomaly, rather than where we actually are/were - and my point was that 3 of those results were against teams that are still below us now.
  2. Forget the squads at their disposal & who managed who & when..... Without NP here we'd never have had the opportunity to see our top scorer moved to RWB or Andy King holding down a CB position..! It's literally like NP has been taking the piss & the majority on here have been nodding along in agreement, like those Churchill dogs you see in the back of some people's cars..! Seriously.... how bad is his record in comparison to our worst ever managers...? He must be holding his own amongst that illustrious list..!
  3. 3 of those games were against the very few teams that are currently below us in the table. One was against a lesser mid-table team that had to rebuild over the summer after being "cherry picked" at the end of last seasons over achievement - leaving the Blackburn result as the only one that stands out as a "great result" Competed well against Norwich, but that was the start of reverting back to type for NP. Any manager who chooses to play our top scorer & top play maker at RWB for anything other than emergency cover, deserves the grief he's getting & that has been long overdue in coming his way, after being in an absolute mess since the day he walked in here, getting on for 2 years ago now. It is literally inexplicable that people have generally so tolerant of his record here. Regardless of the circumstances he is hampered by, he still has a squad that is far better than what he gets out of them IMHO. There is no way we should be in serious danger of relegation- which we absolutely are.!

    Who?

A valid reply & possibly true - but, honestly.... could anyone really be doing worse than NP is & has been doing here, since the moment he got here, nearly 2 years ago..?! His record is diabolical and we look no better organised or have a better shape now than when he took over. The only reason we ever look any better is because all the players DH had out injured have largely been available to NP and we are still just as bad.
  5. You can't blame the tactics.....! There aren't any to blame...!
  6. Aren't most loads of songs adapted into football songs..? Should none of those ever be used.? The Liquidaror is more traditionally as song of West Broms' fiercest rivals, isn't it..?
  7. Yes that's right ( I can't know if you can do bored, rolling eyes emails on here - so just take this reply as one)
  8. Even Nigel Pearson's record here wouldn't push me into hoping for Warnock..! But yes, at least he has a game plan..!
  9. Someone with some sort of tactical nouse who can send the team out with some sort of game plan, would help.
  10. I agree with all your points - but just saying it's a "fact" doesn't make it a fact..! How can you possibly know how many will actually pass through the turnstiles this afternoon.?
  11. What has NP done here to give you any confidence in that atall..?!
  12. Except you consistently talk about Wilson and his reign as some magical time.... He failed to get us out of league one..! In fact, anything much of note that that team managed, result wise, was down to a memorable moment from one player or other, rather than any particularly great games that he masterminded.
  13. No, I was subtly pointing out that you were chatting shite.... that Brighton Play off final was utterly diabolical & on Wilson. To say his team entertained every week is either blinkered or delusional. Yes, at times - but generally, Wilson's era was one of failure.
  14. If you are only going to count the entertaining games, then you are right..! I assume you didn't go to the play off final..?
  15. Fan base (imo) refers to potential support - like the number that clubs take to Wembley or turn out for victory parades or who would tick that teams box on a "who do you support" questionnaire. A fan base doesn't reflect the true or current support of any club, but refers to it's potential for premier league or big cup fixtures. That's how I'd always see it's meaning anyway.
  16. So you are saying that they have more supporters than most other clubs.... they will take that as confirmation that they've been right all along..!
  17. Absolutely..! I've always thought there were such similarities in the frustrations of supporting both City & England. So much so, that it is uncanny at times - especially considering the gulf in quality between the 2 - but the same old, failings & short comings in so many ways.
  18. We lost to Italy on Pens and were up against a blatantly biased ref. We lost to France after being largely the better team, due to a freak Harry Kane missed penalty. No manager has had us this competitive at these stages of 3 straight tournaments, ever. He's not perfect, but it would be our loss if he'd had enough.
  19. Yes I know that. The post illustrates what a dreadful record it is & I was comparing it our our last 16 consecutive games, than being bothered by a stat that isn't down to any one managers reign.
  20. Shocking stat..! Out of interest, if we had won 3 of those 16 games, would people find it acceptable...? If they'd all been under the same manager... what would people opinion be..? If they'd not been just Christmas fixtures and consecutive games within a season, would that be cool..?
  21. A couple of mis placed passes in upcoming games and I expect Dan Bentley will replace him..!
  22. He may have more assists if NP took the radical step of playing our best attacking player (goals & assists) upfront. Scott has shown huge maturity this season and holding a team together at his age, which appears to be sent out week after week, without any real game plan, with people regularly played out of position around him. We will absolutely miss him massively when he goes and I bet for him, he can't get away from here soon enough - to his credit, you wouldn't know that by the way he plays. Yes, he does get booked too often, without doubt. I don't think that the shambles around him really helps on that front though.
