Agree - gets to the point where it’s slightly cringey. Fantastic that we have the facility and a massive improvement on what we had, but it’s nothing more than average when you see some of the others around. Just shows how difficult it is to keep up with the more moneyed clubs, got to run just to stand still.

Forgot about Everton but I guess every case has it’s own facets. I’m not agreeing or disagreeing with it as I don’t know the story or any of the facts at all. I presume if it was the same every week people would just naturally get into a rhythm. I can see it from both sides personally. Had to move from my already shit seat to an even worse one at the Euro semis as a load of chopped up ******* decided to embark upon our row and basically stand in front of us instead of going wherever their seat was (if they had one - that’s another topic). It’s seriously bloody annoying. Other times I’ve taken the opportunity to improve my view if its a situation where people aren’t sitting in their allotted seats when the away end isn’t full. And other times (Fulham away before covid for example) it’s a case of just trying to get a view somewhere / anywhere. Think if it was officially unallocated it would just alleviate any difficulties and uncomfortableness that sometimes comes with it.

That would be the most sensible approach for all clubs imho. Those that are wanting to sit at the front or stand at the back ot wherever can then get in earlier and those that don’t really care can then just rock up. Just needs to be clear.

Think the writing has been on the well for the coaches since NP took over. Just needed to get his own men in which he has done with Curtis. Early substitutions, whilst I don’t like them I must admit, may have context. I await to see what he says when asked but maybe an injury, niggle, or just tactical. Agree Simpson though is not a great replacement. Regardless though the fact of the matter is we were left up shit creak by that ***t Ashton and we now have to rebuild which includes staying up this year, nothing more.

Yeah I would really take being back pre stadium rebuild overall I think. But that’s more to do with atmosphere and togetherness. Just an ‘event’ these days. Like the cinema or theatre.
