  1. This is where I sit on this I really wanted Pearson instead of Holden, even over Hughton (but I'd have been happy with CH too) I thought even with a poor squad he'd get us organised, he'd bring some sort of style of play to us We're absolutely powder puff. How easy did Vyner get brushed aside by Deeney for that second goal? It shouldn't even be Vyner marking him, why is Kalas not taking on that battle or Atkinson? We all know what Deeney is about. I really want to see a Pearson team with half of this crap moved on and his players on the pitch, but I don't think he'll survive long enough to get that chance.
  2. We do seem to get more than our fair share of deflected goals don’t we? Is it half hearted defending / blocking or just bad luck? Seemed to have acres to shoot from, bakinson seemed to be in no mans land
  3. That adds to my point really (remembering there’s 3 more less experienced players starting too) We don’t have the luxury of depth when we pick up a few injuries.
  4. That bench is why we are where we are and have to just bare with it this season notjonh against the lads but there’s very little experience or quality there

    Downsy

It's an interesting discussion, I can see both sides of it. I'm sure the Rugby lads aren't bothered in any way, and without the emojis I don't see any issue with the video. Some will say if a male employee reacted like that to a video of the women's team it would probably cause more of a stir. As @LondonBristolian rightly pointed out, there's a history to the leering and sexualisation of women, and the discussion of their looks over their ability that often happens. At best, it's unprofessional from him IMO, and his reaction to the keyboard warriors hasn't helped him really.
  6. You reckon Rodgers would go there after his time at Liverpool?
  7. The same old comments from the same old people again ? He's got history for jumping to conclusions especially where race is concerned. Posted an absolute car crash of a thread about the Reading stabbings last year. Adament it was black on black, caused by BLM blah blah. Had nothing to do with it and he disappeared from the thread never to comment again.
  8. It happened just a few weeks ago to Jamal Lewis, sent off for a second yellow on 36 minutes.
  9. Not real, and It took about 10 seconds to find a reply debunking the pic. https://www.thesun.co.uk/news/1248439/premier-league-manager-eddie-howe-caught-parking-his-top-of-the-range-range-rover-in-a-bus-stop-so-his-wife-can-go-to-starbucks/ It's mad how much gets shared around the internet without even checking first
  10. £20k is very little relative to the wages of relegated clubs. Profrssional players obviously have ability, you aren’t factoring in confidence - and 11 opponents applying pressure
  11. It has in some degree but now it lasts for more seasons plus money in the Prem has gone up. Even the team finishing bottom receives something like £90m
  12. Its a foul, I guess the red is for denying a goal scoring opportunity Not sure how the ref sees it though?
  13. When have we lost 10 games in a row? Our record is 8 ?
  14. That does annoy me, lets stop talking about Liverpool having 19 titles then? it;s only 1 as far as I can see
  15. What's the stat that's so called been beat then?
  16. I think you're right it's not particularly hooliganism, it's "lad" behaviour. It's not just football, it's any time a group of lads (and it's more common in lads but don't get me wrong a group of women can be just as awful) Take them away from the daily grind for a day/weekend etc with no responsibilities, no one questioning their behaviour and then the group mentality of egging each other on to do something silly (plus multiple drinks/drugs). This isn't limited to football, you'll see it on nights out, stag does, lads holidays etc - and as I said, big groups of women on hen dos can be a horrible group to deal with too.
  17. Is this actually true though? How do you know that "no other club moans about it"? Personally I rarely sit in my seat at away games, and that's purely because I usual go on my own and I like to locate myself in and amongst the "noisier" fans and have a sing song. On your own it's fairly easy to squeeze in next to like minded people and not have to worry too much I can understand it's frustrating though for people who dont want to or can't stand for long periods. For various reasons those people might not always be able to get in early and be near the front. Exactly so lack of arrests doesn't mean lack of problems? I was being a little facetious to be honest anyway
  18. Corrected that, sadly it's not just City It's only a crime if you get caught hey?
  19. That’s a cracking joke fair play
  20. Interesting what you mean "take the piss" I seen a number of our fans goading and trying to start something with Swansea fans on the walk home out of the ground. Some football fans of any club are just bellends basically
  21. Madness? We've won 27/76 since. That's a pretty awful return, and results aside some pretty big capitulations in there, as I said Sunderland and Hull spring to mind, 3 more this season? we'd won 7/12 at home up til that Wolves game in the league (plus beaten a few prem teams, notably United) 11/23 the season before that and 7/23 in the season we survived when Cotts left (would be a little unfair to mention the 16/23 in our League 1 season)
