  1.  It the (deservedly so) meltdown on here, but the result today. I couldn’t go, little girl was born 2 days ago, but to be honest I would have been reluctant to go anyway. It was so predictable. Anyone who thought anything else would happen today are deluded.

I know some on here will enjoy this.
Michael Beale has apparently been caught using 'fake' Twitter accounts to defend himself .
An account called Player ID posted Tweets defending the ex manager, thing is someone did some digging and found it was an old account of his . Not seen the podcast before, but worth a look.

To be fair he has never hidden from this. He tweets from ‘Player ID’ but in his own personal bio he states he is the one behind Player ID.

Some fool made out they were Sherlock Holmes to work this out when it was in his bio all the time.

  3. Murphy a slight concern maybe. Move didn’t happen in the summer due to medical issues apparently. We obviously kept an interest despite a change in the management set up. Would hope they were thorough in their medical checks this time around.

Can he play on his own up front without any service?

If he can let’s make sure we all give him a barrel of abuse when he doesn’t score 3 a game even though we have no one making chances for him.

    Completely agree .

My personal opinion is that Brian Tinnion has done really well for BCFC and has been instrumental in changing the reliance on new signings to a pathway for home grown talent. The first team squad  for several years is testament to this.

It's funny that a number of posters have vented their spleen about a simple predictable and inevitable change of manager as it may involve a rebuild yet , at the same time, are demanding a much much bigger rebuild for the entire club, ownership and staff.  Comedy gold.

I don’t think anyone has or is questioning the work Tinnion has done with the youngsters. But that’s the issue, stick to what you do well! It’s the going from career pathways to running the club that is the problem.

    Oh come on.

This week on the pod the bloke said "Every week I suggest a team that would do better than what we've got" - just an unbelievable comment from a fan.

So just to be clear… someone who is defending the boards choice to fire Pearson and bring in the saviour that is Liam Manning, is also saying he could do a better job than Manning week in week out?!?!

  7. Back to back games vs teams in the relegation zone and absolutely nothing to show for it!

Every time I think Manning shows promise, Middlesborough and Southampton, we are reminded of the reality we face in having a manager clearly out his depth, all down to the Lansdown’s and Tinnion.

    Pathetic.

100% watching Jet play for city was fun…. Enjoyable!! Edge of the seat stuff. Bloody hell he was frustrating at times but I enjoyed going to the gate with players like him in the team. Especially compared to the absolute boredom of the last 3/4 years🤦‍♂️

In flashes, yes. However, when he was on the pitch it was like playing with 10 men for 90% of the time. He was as much of the issue as he was the solution. We played much of our better football during the promotion season when Wilbs and Agard were on the pitch. He was a luxury to have waiting to come on.

  9. I do not think there is an elephant in the room. Some people took the words of the Lansdowns and Tinnion literally, me being one of them. Because of this Manning gets stick when things don’t go our way.

Others say they have seen enough to show promise and progress to move the club forward.

The one thing most agree on is the words spoken by those running the club are complete BS!

This is laughable. Who is ready and good enough in the academy to come in?
People commenting who have probably never been to watch the 21s, because if you have you’d know they are not at the required level yet.
NP had no choice but to use Yeboah and quite clearly he wasn’t ready.
LM using some of these lads on the bench and integrating them in the first team via being around the team on a match day and training is still a way to blood them.

Lose one game and all of a sudden Manning has no clue about anything, the bloke literally watches these players and gets updated every day.

Give the bloke a break, only reason his predecessor has to use academy players who were not ready was his own doing by not using the loan market.

There is many times I have felt the need to jump to Mannings defence since he arrived but his is one of them and summed up well by yourself.

If we have someone who is good enough they will be given a chance. I’m sure the club made that clear to him when recruiting. The youngsters who joined in January also referenced the pathways to the first team and I don’t think the principles of that have changed in anyway.

  11. Everyone to man was shocking today, but I have two main questions…

McCorie looked massively off the pace which is understandable given how much of the season he has missed. But why the hell was Sykes the one to replace him and not Tanner? Sykes isn’t a right back and hasn’t played in how long which showed.

But a worse call than that was leaving Wells on for the 90 mins. The worse of a bad bunch by far. Why was he not replaced with Twine? Wells is a bit part player at best nowadays. Offers very little other than running down the clock towards the end of a game.

Truly awful game management today by the managerial team.

Mehmeti IMO was nowhere near the levels of other players on show this evening. He just fails to drive at opposition players and he lets them dictate his next move rather than the opposite. He could and should have passed to players in far better shooting positions but took on impossible shots that had very little chance of ending in the net

McCrorie showed what Mehmeti should be doing, driving at the opposition and then slowing them up and playing the ball into Cornick to slot away

Funny how we see it. Thought he was very good tonight. Didn’t over complicate things. Did run at them when needed. Once in the first have forcing a save from their keeper.

A moment of brilliance and the perfect delivery for the important opening goal which is usually the most critical part of his game.

  13. Seeing as the football was so good I need to find something else to moan about so here it is…

Those bloody buses after the game are getting on my nerves! Never ready to let people on as the crowd floods out which causes a build up. People queuing all over the pavement making it impossible to walk past.

Surely they can find a better system for this. So annoying week in week out!

There it is, feel a little better for it now.
