Didn’t the football world all scratch their heads when Birmingham sacked Eustace.
What must they be thinking of us…..
I posted a clip on her of Paul Merson talking about Pearson’s sacking on soccer Saturday following. They couldn’t believe it.
Not a direct quote but he basically said Pearson had Scott sold and not given any funds to replace him or rebuild. It was madness.

Say this is true, what would be expectation in those 8 games be? 3 wins with the same performance as against Swansea? 5 defeats but each one is attacking, exciting 5-4 losses?
And do we think the noise around season tickets might force their hand?

So who caved in on day 1 then???

would be great to have all four stands singing "There's only one Nigel Pearson!"
Careful, might upset the happy clappers

To be fair, not a bad little promo video if you take it at face value.
Luckily we know better.

After Tinnion said himself last week you can’t compare us to Coventry, you think Robins would happily walk away from them to join us…

Apart from Rotherham I can’t see any other wins this season.

It’s not just the amount of money we spend, it’s the value for money we get.
If we had spent £200k on a striker who scored 25+ goals a season, the amount we spent wouldn’t matter.
Problem is we seem to have our pants pulled down paying over the odds for bang average players. McCorie was unlucky with his health, we will see next season if that was £2m well spent. Knight is a bit hit and miss for me. I think the amount of energy he put in earlier in the season is starting to show. The rest of the signings still have huge question marks against them with the exception of Dickie who represents the best value for money.

Other clubs are worse than us though. Therefore the club doesn't have to fear the Prem with it's opposing teams, nor dropping down which would result in less sponsorship, tv fees ans gate receipts.
Are there worse clubs than us since this managerial set up was put in place?
Maybe one for everyone’s favourite stato @Davefevs but if anyone can be bothered to do a league table based on if the season had started with Manning’s first game it would be interesting.

Mentioned in the matchday thread this was being sung.
Anyone there confirm this? How long/loud was it sung?
Good to hear fans voicing their feelings, especially in the week season ticket prices were announced. SL, JL, BT and LM have been given far too easy a ride for me liking.

You can't judge City away at West Brom. Radio local at its finest. Jeez. Well done Owers for calling it out as stupid.
If you think the feeling towards the club are all based on West Brom then there isn’t really much to say…
However, these are the teams BT and JL fully believe we are able to compete with, so no excuses!

2-0 down for 15 mins now and still no changes???

All too familiar and predictable unfortunately.
But all is not lost, we are in the U18 cup semi final

What a game that was.
As critical as many of us are over Pearson sacking/Manning’s appointment, a few years ago Robins was heavily linked to us but was not a popular choice with fans. Am I right in thinking he was Lansdown’s preferred choice at the time?

I said I plucked the numbers from the air . I didn’t make up that there are an element of lazy people that want something for nothing . Just because you haven’t experienced it doesn’t mean it’s not there. You obviously haven’t come across such people . You’re very lucky up there in your ivory tower
Some people play the system for sure. I have family members on benefits cus they chose not to work. There is absolutely on reason why they couldn’t.
It isn’t fair to paint everyone in the same way. Unfortunately, there isn’t a way to know who are genuine and who are taking the rest of us for a ride.

I gave my season ticket up last year after 13 on the bounce and I can say for a fact that it's been a weight off my shoulders.
I drink less, my heads in a better place, I'm genuinely happier and it's so easy to watch City from home it's almost pointless going to the ground anymore.
Yes I miss the limbs, the banter, but actually I haven't rated the atmosphere at the club for a long time and actually a lot of it is just East End nostalgia that no longer exists.
It's hard to let go, I understand, and a lot of people renew out of habit but my advice is vote with your feet guys, demand better.
I went 6 years without a season ticket after my daughter was born. This season was my first one back. Been regretting since around November time and looking forward to not having one again next season.
The amount of games I’ve gone to this season cus I feel I have to rather than want to, purely because it’s already paid for, is unreal.
Would rather be £45 better off each month and spend it on the family, especially having the new born now.
