I’m going to help you out here because this made me laugh but will no doubt go over a lot of peoples heads
Thank you. At least someone got it!

Or......
It wasn't 7-0
Might as well have been, zero points for losing 3-2 or 7-0…

George Tanner is a better right back than Ross McCrorie.
Matty James is a more calming influence in midfield than Williams or TGH
Need to see more of McCrorie to judge.
You are probably right about James but I would prefer Naismith over all of them.

Wes Burns!
Of little benefit to us of course, but that is not the same player who left us. He looked immense and could well be in the premier league next season.
I had him down as a league 1 player at best!
Three cheers for Burns, hip hip…

As critical as I am of Manning, people have hit the nail on the head time and time again in that the issues go well above him alone.

The only one I think would make any difference is Naismith, and that would only be if played in midfield as someone to get stuck in but also have the ability to play football.
Twine maybe but can’t comment after one game.
The rest would make no difference.

Biggest positive from tonight by far.
Made no secret in the past that my opinion was an upgrade on Max was needed in the summer.
He is now often our stand out performer, albeit the competition is poor.
Dickie player of the season, Max second place.

Wow, our expectations are that low under this management set up that we are now giving credit for “having a go”…
Honestly, this is something else. Feels worse than the Lennartson days!

You had another left sided defender in Roberts who could have replaced Pring or gone in front of him to plug the side that we were getting absolutely shafted down.
To do literally nothing after McKenna brought on 3-4 attackers seems pretty incomprehensible. Especially after 2-2 and a penalty being missed both from attacks coming down that left side.
League 2 “head coach” is why!

Gutted we don’t have the 10 anniversary celebrations of the day we drew 2-2 with second placed Ipswich to look forward to.
Would have been nice seeing Wells, Cornick and Williams doing a lap of honour.
Having said that, there is a good chance Wells will still be starting up front for us in 10 years!

Diony and Kent were pretty shite mind
You make a strong argument, although there is a difference between shite and pointless

There's something to build on for Sunday there.
Immensely frustrating, and suspect defensively in the 2nd half. But solid in the first half and created chances in the 2nd.
Need to find a way to combine the positives from both
Really? If you think we will play at anything like that level, which wasn’t that great anyway, you are deluded.

3-2 down, Mebude remains on the bench. Him and Twine have to go down as two of the most pointless signings ever.

Conway wouldn't have been in the right position, he'd have been on his heels waiting for the ball to come to him.
Sorry???

That ball in from Sykes, Conway gets on the end of…

How often do you see it… best spell of the game, get the goal, Wells does well but HAS to score, and then the sucker punch!

Anis! Where did that come from???

Positive first half. Luckily for us Ipswich not at the races in that half.

Come on you Reds.
You know you can keep it to less than 7 and really screw @formerly known as ivan's thread.
Anything less than a win and the thread is very much alive!

Well that's not necessarily untrue.
Hard to tell though.
Conway is offering nothing under Manning either.
Exactly! Ask yourself why that is

Conway?
Conway will score goals based on service provided. He isn’t provided any! There is a reason much bigger clubs are interested in him and why he will be long gone come this summer.

Because he has virtually all his career?
Which should be an a wind down now. He offers nothing. Bit part player at best, at least he should be.

With all due respect mate, there is nothing in this world that would convince me we should be proud of nearly beating Ipswich Town.
Man City or Liverpool, maybe. Ipswich Town, not in a million years!
