  1. Didn’t want to go, decided not to. Last minute phone call saying we’re on our way to pick you up changed that. Wish I hadn’t bothered. Glad to see fans showing their feelings with a half empty ground. I will follow this as stated in another post. It’s a shame we never get ‘bums on seats’ numbers when it comes to attendances. Would be amazed if there were more than 16k inside that ground today.
  2. I’m not gonna lie, I wouldn’t say it sank but I certainly didn’t celebrate or get remotely excited. Hence my decision not to go again this season. I can’t get behind this brand of football. I can’t get excited with an undeserved 1-0 win at home where we’ve had 23% possession (based on bbc website). Like I said to someone else, if you enjoyed that this afternoon then good luck to you.
  3. If you are happy spending your weekends watching that then good luck to you! I don’t think there is any risk to worrying about them doing well.
  4. That was bloody terrible. Literally the worse performance of the season. Unfortunately all it’s done is give Manning breathing space. Making that my last visit to the gate this season. Can no longer sit through it and cant celebrate even when they win.
  5. Perfect result.., now Joshua can believe in his own hype again before getting another beating from Usyk or Fury
  6. Can’t send anymore reactions today so you get a personal thanks… thanks
  7. Has anyone paying for their season ticket had a payment taken for March as yet? I thought March was the final payment but nothing has been collected as yet. Cheers
  8. With all due respect mate, there is nothing in this world that would convince me we should be proud of nearly beating Ipswich Town. Man City or Liverpool, maybe. Ipswich Town, not in a million years!
  9. Might as well have been, zero points for losing 3-2 or 7-0…
  10. Need to see more of McCrorie to judge. You are probably right about James but I would prefer Naismith over all of them.
  11. Wes Burns! Of little benefit to us of course, but that is not the same player who left us. He looked immense and could well be in the premier league next season. I had him down as a league 1 player at best! Three cheers for Burns, hip hip…
  12. As critical as I am of Manning, people have hit the nail on the head time and time again in that the issues go well above him alone.
  13. The only one I think would make any difference is Naismith, and that would only be if played in midfield as someone to get stuck in but also have the ability to play football. Twine maybe but can’t comment after one game. The rest would make no difference.
  14. Biggest positive from tonight by far. Made no secret in the past that my opinion was an upgrade on Max was needed in the summer. He is now often our stand out performer, albeit the competition is poor. Dickie player of the season, Max second place.
  15. Wow, our expectations are that low under this management set up that we are now giving credit for “having a go”… Honestly, this is something else. Feels worse than the Lennartson days!
  16. Gutted we don’t have the 10 anniversary celebrations of the day we drew 2-2 with second placed Ipswich to look forward to. Would have been nice seeing Wells, Cornick and Williams doing a lap of honour. Having said that, there is a good chance Wells will still be starting up front for us in 10 years!
  17. You make a strong argument, although there is a difference between shite and pointless
  18. Really? If you think we will play at anything like that level, which wasn’t that great anyway, you are deluded.
  19. 3-2 down, Mebude remains on the bench. Him and Twine have to go down as two of the most pointless signings ever.
  20. That ball in from Sykes, Conway gets on the end of…
  21. How often do you see it… best spell of the game, get the goal, Wells does well but HAS to score, and then the sucker punch!
