Went to Lamaya, the Lebanese place in Finzels Reach. Because we were just passing and feeling lazy, we went for the take away. Good value .A Chicken wrap & fries, Falafal wrap & fries & 2 soft drinks under £18 , really tasty. We will definitely go back for a sit down .

We improved going to a back 4 . I'm sure Nige said he like 2 up top before, Wells & Conway worked really well together, probably the best pairing I've seen here for some time. He also mentioned missing Naismith's passing from that MF position. I did start to wonder if a lot of selections and set ups were experimenting towards the end of the season, but one thing I'm fairly confident of, he will want us to be quite fluid. We have the players to be able to switch formations quite easily. This far out I would guess we will play something like a 4-1-3-2 , but that is based on things mentioned months ago.

I'm no expert, but I just had a look and I still can't even see an application. There have been excuses , at the end of April James Piercy mentions there had been an application but then says Rovers hadn't detailed how big the Stand would be. OK, give them that , it might just be they didn't tell the Post. Could this be getting excuses in early? Not applying then blaming someone else ? Does seem odd taking the old stand down & moving/selling the big TV unless you were serious about the new one. Any experts on here that could shed some serious light as to what may be happening ? Are there ways around Planning? Previous structure footprint or something else. While I like just taking piss, I'm interested now.

Josh Tongue in for Moheen Ali. Not surprised Moheen was out, did struggle at times and his hand would heal that quickly. No obvious like for like so kind of understand it. Might have been fun to give Liam livingstone a go , 2 spinners in one and destructive bat on his day.

These are the shirts from the First Division days (Merrick's is reversed it was on a chewing gum card I think), I still have my Red one like Norman is wearing. I haven't seen a replica shirt that comes close yet, similar but no one has nailed it. My fav shirt.

Sadly I think you may be right. Strangely I think people would think more of him if he'd just came out, held his hands up and say he was wrong. Even just come out and explain what the train of thought was. Avoiding things makes him look weak IMO.

I like the logo, as I said before it was on my school haversack. I like the colour , I have no probs with the blue I actually quite like it. It all falls down when you have the 2 together, you cannot see any link apart from Man City. If they brought out those shirts in a range of colours , including Red I think they would be popular (allowing for price). I think often it is too easy to criticise the kits etc, if it had a different badge like Hummel or Umbro there would be a lot less noise . That said it really wouldn't take much to explain the decision with the badge. Explain the thought process and then (hopefully) say it was a mistake and we can move on.

I recently read that Barcelona were around £1.3 billion in debt. They were banned from registering new players last year and I saw somewhere they wanted players to take a pay cut (again?) . They sold of TV rights and some other family silverwear and will be paying for the Stadium until 2047 (though apparently they struck a deal which means this is 5 years earlier than expected) . Didn't they sell the training ground to the Council who then gave them it back ? I don't follow it too closely so that may not be 100% right, but they have been taking the piss for ages. There is some sort of salary cap , not sure how it works (or IF ) as Barca have gone over it but seems to mean nothing. They cannot register Gavi ( and Ronald Araújo ) but according to an article from Jan, he had played 18 times by then. They play as 'B' Team players, so that Cap works then. Anyway, I'm rambling. Great way to end his career, looking at one article it said Man C were "now going to offer a long term deal" and that gundogan's representatives had been in contact with Barca. I guess if you wait so long for an offer that doesn't come you think sod it. Plus it's a great place to live.

I don't mind a big home game first up, but if we get one of those it will be moved so I'd rather not. I don't like playing promoted side early, still full of confidence and excitement. Ok if you win, but always tough. Opening away game Leicester would be good, I still haven't been to the new(er) ground. Boxing Day, don't really care as I can't usually make it. Final day, Southampton would be good. One of the few places I've been locked in a Pub by the Police. Had the Company of the Southampton Women's team to keep us amused, nice afternoon despite getting beat 3-0.

For who though, I agree but Robinson was better than Jimmy. But then Jimmy is Jimmy. Then if they are going to ask for flat pitches will Robinson be a better bet than Anderson? I was really looking forward to seeing Jofra get amongst them , Wood has to come in for real pace you'd think . Will Moheen be fit ? I could see 2 or 3 changes.

Fair play to Root, really stepped up with his bowling. Best spell I've seen him bowl. Shame we didn't have a few more runs to play with now they are actually attacking a bit. Nervy.
