1 game at a time, I think. Saturday is a really good opportunity to solidify our place in the top half (at least for now) and from there who knows.
Plenty of time left in the season for a decent push. Maybe we are a top 10 team after all..

LM has by far the best starting point of any manager we've had in my time watching (25 years or so).
Perhaps it's not entirely fair, but he's absolutely gonna get judged based on how he builds from that

They want a pathway. They want coaching.
Not saying you're saying this, but the idea that our players weren't being "coached" before Manning came in is absurd

I know you couldn't make it today for a good reason and I don't know if you happened to see any of it. But believe me, it was slow, boring, tripe we were served up today. A good one to miss, but sadly, I fear it won't be the last game like this.
I watched the first half on a stream. Actually thought we looked alright, although a lot of it was Norwich looking awful
Was out for the second half so didn't see any but not all that surprised we caved

That tweet from Tins is laughable. A worry that someone so deluded and thin skinned seems to be in charge

Unnecessary imo and will only lead to more controversy (ie one player gets sent to sin bin, while another gets away with it etc)
They already have good punishments to give out for abuse to referees, they just need to actually use them

Wish him all the best of course but I'm not convinced from what I've heard so far

To be fair to JL (never thought I'd say that), he did say that they'd essentially given Pearson 2 seasons to be challenging and now that we (apparently) aren't (I'd disagree) they feel a change makes sense.
I expect Manning would be given less time given the circumstances but they'd still give some time

The cynic in me, and I’ve been cynical for the last 8 days, says no way in hell they’d have wanted to feed Hines/Ball/Cisse to the lions of the media this week as part of pre/post match duty. Much easier and better for a close friend and ‘his man’ Flem to do it. Imo that was a consideration
Said lions of the media:

Progression? The performances by and large and certainly the results have been mediocre for 3 years.
Yes, progression.
Prior to that we went a season with the lowest amount of attempts on goal in the division's history.

Well said. Have posted elsewhere that we could do worse. This is not a Tinnion/Millen/Holden scenario. He would be the surviving embodiment of the culture that NP instilled. If you think trying to maintain some continuity with that is an important consideration, then there is logic to it, and he has a lot of respect and goodwill, partly through his close association with Nige, but also in his own right.
Not to be dismissed out of hand, but would he want it, having been a witness to this week’s car crash?
It's ironic isn't it. This is the one time that an internal appointment would make the most sense to continue the progression but nope. Obviously the geniuses at the top have decided we need to change everything yet again

Looks like Nigel Pearson's Cider Army aren't underperforming after all. Who knew?

Think what you want about Frank Lampard as a manager but there's no way he comes here to work under Brian Tinnion and Jon Lansdown

The thing Is ( I'm not pro lansdown btw)...
Everyone and their dog has been moaning about the lack of communication from the club and as soon as an interview is released everyone moans about every word that's said.
Because it's not really communication, is it?
