Blaming out preparation over international breaks..
The first one we came back, drew 0-0 with West Brom then smashed Plymouth.
Second one we beat Coventry.
Absolutely none of this holds up to scrutiny

"top 10 budget" yet the best we've done in 13 years is 8th, once.
Who's taking responsibility for the constant failure from above then?
We need proper journalists ripping these pricks a new one

I find it so baffling that Jon Lansdown seems to think he knows more about training and fitness than Pearson, Euell and Rennie. Madness

This is a very interesting point.
This time last year we had DaSilva (we released), Scott (We Sold), Semenyo (We Sold), Massengo (We released), Kalas (We released), Martin (we sold), Bentley (we sold)
Granted Massengo didn't want to stay and the two youngsters we were happy to sell for money, it was our choice to release DaSilva, and Kalas and we decided to sell the others.
Semenyo and Scott aside, we've added in 7 players.
No we have not got in better players than Scott and Semenyo, but if you feel we've let go better than we've brought in, then you are of the opinion, that we should be finishing lower than 14th this year, and which that means the recruitment has been poor, and the management were not leading us in a positive direction.
I'm sure when we signed the 7 players, we weren't thinking oh, these aren't as good as the players we're letting go, so lets spend 5m+ on them and watch us regress!
Cornick over Martin is the only actual improvement imo.
I like most of the new signings but it's just so delusional if they really expected them to all bed in immediately and be better than the established championship players we had before.
All of the others mentioned absolutely stroll back into the first team here

He could have used almost exactly the same words if he had given Nige a new contract.
This is so true

Tinnion's comments about playing "front foot football" sound awfully similar to what he said when he had a terrible go at managing in the past

We have a worse squad than this time last year so it's absolutely crazy to say we should be getting promotion

Pathetic

No mention of us also losing/letting go our head of fitness and well respected first team coach as well either, obviously

Mine didn't work this time. Then I had a steward rip my phone out of my hand

Absolutely shocked that nobody from the "board" was available for comment

I love Nigel Pearson tbh but I'm ok with him not being given a new contract right now.
What I'm not ok with is that it seems like he's being completely left in the dark by those above which is just massively unfair. He should at least know where he stands in terms of potentially getting a new deal or not.
We know he's gone through a lot with Covid and now the back issues so for him to not feel supported in this is quite frankly terrible.
It's not surprising though, is it. The "club" have been silent to all of us for a good few years now

Weird end to the half
Pleased with that so far. Look quite comfortable and feel like we've got a lot more to offer as well

The sound system itself is awful but it doesn't help when the guy behind the microphone doesn't have a clue either
The referee would have told him quite clearly that the game was stopped for a moment while he was sorting the technical issues with his goal line technology. Downsey then mumbles it back over the mic with no clarity at all. It should have been simple.
At the end of the game he kept saying "see you on Saturday" as if we were playing at home this weekend and not the next

Who knows what's happened but I wasn't particularly impressed hearing him speak the other week
If his attitude to the rest of the job was the same as that interview then it's good that he's gone
-
Feel like this is one of those that's impossible to answer as per Fevs post
Ultimately it worked well for us so was a great tackle. Naismith himself was absolutely terrible second half though imo

Pretty rubbish interview. Not necessarily Richard Hoskins' fault although the questions weren't great imo
Phil Alexander essentially said nothing we didn't already know
For what it's worth, I'm fine with the club cutting the budget but the lack of communication about everything is abysmal

If you watch it again, the defender only appealed after Sykes scored,he had plenty of time to appeal before!
That's a bit silly. Sykes was shooting as he falls to the floor after being tripped
Impossible decision for the ref really. You can definitely make a good argument for either side
