Able to call it a day on his own terms at the age of 38, still being paid to play footy at that age too. Brilliant career.

Could be an EFL manager in the near future if he’s not careful!
-
He said as much on radio Bristol at the time. Laughed and said yes when asked if that was him finished with us, and said “sure it’ll come out that it’s due to a contract clause” or something along those lines.
-
Think Tinnion said his game time will be dictated a bit by instructions to Jerry @ Bath around how many minutes to give him, with an eye on the u18s game time he’ll also have (semi final, mainly)

The fact Steve Lansdown is back attending games says all we need to know. Said earlier in the week, him turning up at Swansea and Tinnion magically appearing on sound of the city the day after, scrambling and rattling through answers, have got to be linked. He didn’t choose to attend Cardiff away, went to the rugby instead, yet Pearson was sacked the day after. His reemergence stinks of “I don’t trust this lot, I need to involved again” which is probably pissing him off no end. He pulled no punches when talking about our football under Holden, he’s probably aghast at what he’s watched over the last week. Manning plus probably Tinnion are under a lot of pressure imo.

As someone pointed out in the MDT, the fact that the bloke’s ‘bravery’ at 2-0 down was to change our full backs for…full backs, says all we need to know. The subs were, again, so clearly pre planned and not tweaked to what was playing out in front of his ******* eyes. Interesting he also blames McCrorie in the post match for missing his chance too as ‘lack of quality we speak about’ or words to that effect. So things are going so well, and we create so much in a game to score, our loss is even down to the fault of a ******* right back not scoring the one chance we make in an entire half. His post match today has tipped me over the edge with him. Constantly double downing on the ‘plan’ being perfect, but the players being terrible and not clever enough to understand it. God forbid a team of footballers playing an entire game of football mistake-free like some sort of chat GPT concoction. Sack him. And move Tinnion back to an academy-only role.

Tactics didn’t lose us the game, players need to step up. Again. Thats every loss in the last 10 games that is on the players isn’t it? What a bellend. -
Emotions klaxon!!! He sounds totally broken on RB, blaming players again

Great use of a spot on the bench over Yeboah & Nelson Pathway baby

& @Davefevs Said at the time, Tinnion & co are even more deluded beyond words if they sacked Pearson, with the genuine belief that they could get Mousinho. Sounds like they probably are, as Monday’s SOTC proved too.

Truly terrible finish Tommy -
Hes applied 3 times, by all accounts. Most recently, when LJ went… Which made SL’s comments about how well he was doing at Coventry on his last appearance on Radio Bristol even more laughable.

They may be in an FA Cup semi final, but don’t forget…… We beat Southampton.

‘Stiff hamstring’ for Williams, and a pretty pointed ‘get behind the lads’ comment from Manning. That’s a what we call a double pre-match zinger. -

Williams injured, Twine clearly still not fit as there’s no way he’d be on the bench if they were confident he was totally fine. -

Naismith still ‘just a bit stiff’? Tanner still just a week away?
