  1. No option, and he has 3.5 years left on his deal, so not the most obvious of loan to perms we’ve seen
  2. Can’t lie this is a bit puzzling to me. Signing a winger when we’ve moved away from playing wingers, signed a 4 year deal at the Belgian side last summer so can’t imagine there’s much chance of a perm. Just a case of getting ‘someone’ attacking in?
  3. He has said another has signed…..but 99% signed. Whatever that is
  4. Well, yeah obviously that too - I’m just tired and stressed and want to have a needless dig in peace!! insert old man yells at cloud meme
  5. If he does go back there on loan, It screams of “we know we’re going nowhere this season”
  6. If he does come in, I’d say that all but confirms Williams & James are off in the summer
  7. Jose to the back post….Conwaaaaayyyyyy
  8. Is the grand total of one game a new record for qualifying for “we really missed him today” about a player?
  9. Fevs has covered my thoughts on this too, but just to add if we are to down this route, and it’s likely Williams, James and King will be gone in the summer so that’s 3x new midfielders to come in, along with TGH benched, it also screws with our u21 integration and blooding. Our best prospects coming through are raw pace, out and out wide men/forwards. The best CMs will be bought over, and that’s without even considering the two cms that came in this window for the future. I’m not saying it’s a bad style or approach as well btw, just a very far cry from Tinns “we have a clear identity, front foot attacking 433”, as well as “academy first” from Liam.

    Max

It was Maenpaa…when he was ever actually fit to play!
  11. Thought he was their best player first half tbf
  12. I agree he’s not a sole 9, he needs to play in a two man strike partnership.
  13. Looked really good, managed the ball well and good patterns, but pretty powderpuff in the final third. Is becoming an unwanted trend really.
  14. Conway in a 10 is a monumental waste imo. Cant sacrifice playing him out of position, especially when we are struggling for goals and he has a foot out the door. Playing him out of position harms on both fronts. We played it last 20, but we’d be insane to start like it, we are so open and went gung ho last 20 likely due to LM’s desperation to get a win under the belt. Would be very surprised if it ends up being ‘us’ next season, though wouldn’t shock me as you can’t leave any of Dickie Vyner or Atkinson out with their quality, and that’s without Naismith in the conversation too. Still a lot of ‘need time to figure it out’ about us at the minute, which is the total opposite of what we were told to expect.
  15. Agreed. Looked good after going back to “what we’re good at”. Was similar story of looking tidy with the ball but offering next to nothing in the final third.
  16. Point about right, can’t argue with that too much. Just a shame to have such a poor error cost us, especially going into such a tough run. A bit of quality, relentless hard work and endeavour cancelled out by a really poor error by someone who many fans would replace with better quality if we were allowed the funds to. Probably sums up where we are as a club at the minute. Glad to see LM ‘take the hand break off’ as it were second half. We were really exciting to watch that last 15/20 or so.
  17. Nahki wells taking corners. **** me this is peak living.
  18. Don’t think you can tell at all from the angle they’ve shown tbh. Arsenal’s game the other month proved that
  19. Would be pleasantly surprised to see Twine start before QPR personally. He featured fine with full fitness for Hull before joining us, too. Have to chuckle really.
