  1. Said in the MDT, but Don’t think we’ll get anywhere until he’s been given transfer windows and has had a pre season. So really, no different to the situation under Pearson. To me, it all just feels like yet more time being willed away as a city fan. Sigh. Also not convinced in his odd second half approaches in each game so far. Maybe down to not knowing/trusting the squad enough yet, but his subs have leaved a lot to be desired.
  2. Massively. A blessing from Sykes, seeing as he wasn’t even one of our targets!
  3. I’m certainly feeling like that. Won’t see any proper tangible change under manning until he’s given transfers and a pre season. Sad feeling wanting Yet more time being willed away as a City fan, but tis the truth.
  4. Not really sure what to make of that, win one of the next two tough games and it’s a good point. Can’t keep coming out of games needing 6/7 good chances to score 1 from though. One thing is for sure, we need help in January. A deeper squad and today could’ve been converted into a win.
  5. People really slate Yeboah for being too raw and not ready yet okay with Mehmeti trying to nutmeg the same man four times in one attack. Wtf is he doing there
  6. Bell is out on his feet. Not sure why he wasn’t taken off instead of sykes
  7. We aren’t scoring in a month of Sundays with this system. They’ll continue to get joy if he keeps Bell LWB too. Pring on for him straight swap and Cornick for Weimann to support Tommy please
  8. This is all far too easy for them now. Loads of bodies behind the ball, everything we’re doing is cutting inside because we have no left footers on the pitch. Contain, win the ball and break down the left. Bet they can’t believe their luck
  9. Good opening 20, can’t string two passes together now.
  10. Even ******* worse if it’s Tanner LB with Belly ahead of him
  11. Watkins was definitely LJ’s man, but believe it was @Kid in the Riot who said Adelukan was 100% Ashton’s signing, LJ didn’t want him and didn’t rate him hence never playing. I can’t remember who, but i recall a first team player jokingly (but probably truthfully) say they’d never heard Adelukan speak a word to anyone the whole time he was a contracted player here. Scotty gave Stan one of his match issued shirts after his first appearance on osib though, so at least one of us benefitted from him somehow
  12. £1m fee + probably £10K a week wages. What a signing he was
  13. At that time I’d be amazed if it’s not the chosen game on ESPN/Bein/DAZN, so would be a good chance of good streams.
  14. Let’s be honest, he’s not going to say “we’re keeping everything exactly the same; everything was perfect” is he, he has his own thoughts and styles of play. Even Curtis would’ve changed stuff if he got the job full time. I also don’t see the emphasis on ‘club in transition’ in football generally. Every club is in transition, because every club buys and sells players every transfer window, that in itself is transition. Think he answered that question well and articulately tbf, and good on Piercy (again, he’s absolutely amazing) for putting it to him
  15. Taking them from relegation zone championship to prem promotion in the same season, then keeping them up in the prem the following? Can’t see it one bit. He’s in so much credit. Still got a decent buffer to the relegation zone too. They’d be mad to sack him.
