  1. Missed two huge chances today, missed two huge chances Wednesday, missed a huge chance before his pen last week. Becoming a worrying trend. I think he will be gone in the summer either way tbh.
  2. He’s 100% got an injury. Could hardly move after a collision with Idah around 70. Looked v2 of whatever he picked up against Plymouth.
  3. It is the last 2 games, that’s for sure. Pearson would’ve been hanged for todays subs and second half performance. I cannot for the life of me understand any of them, and they absolutely contributed to us losing. I’d love to know what’s he’s said at HT in every game so far. Because the total inability to resemble a football team from minutes 45-75 under him so far is really concerning.
  4. Started really slowly again second half, become a trend under Liam so far
  5. Took us 20 to warm up, but that was a really enjoyable half. They’re immobile as hell, and we’ve real pace off the bench. Do well to **** this one up.
  6. Meerholz is decent, will be LB cover but can mainly play CM, left footed. Not featured much for 21s but done well in the 18s, must’ve trained with first team this week at some stage.
  7. So winning league two, and having 10 games at championship level, is better than being regarded as one of the best young coaches in England, getting 89 points in league one, and leaving a languishing, relegation threatened side in second in league one about 12 months later? It’s widely known why MK Dons fell apart the next season - and by the way, still got relegated under the new man after he left, with loads of points still to play for. Hardly a blot on him. Don’t get me wrong, I wouldn’t have sacked Pearson for him either - but I can understand the logic behind it, in roundabout ways.
  8. By that strange logic, Rob Edwards shouldn’t have got the Luton job, Woodgate shouldn’t have got the Boro job, McKenna shouldn’t have got the Ipswich job, Mousinho shouldn’t have got the Pompey job…..the list goes on and on. Taylor is the best you could’ve got by a distance, but by no means not an excellent appointment, apart from the fact he’s probably on the biggest wage you’ve ever paid a manager in your history. I see he’s not been allowed to bring in his own men, for now anyway, that’s not gonna help him in any way at all.
  9. Said at the time, that job will do enormous, enormous damage to his managerial career.
  10. @Kid in the Riot CC: he’s done it again….. me me me me me me
  11. Exactly the same as last season. I’d go as far to say, they were the team I was most impressed by at AG last year. Their attacking structure was on another level, but defensively really basic. Hence they were 3rd with minus GD at the time iirc!
  12. Like the tactical change in bringing Mount on in a more advanced role against France, gets him on the end of a chance in the box that then earns us the penalty & golden chance to equalise?
  13. So realistically, quarters we could face Germany, Spain or Italy, and if we don’t face one in the quarters then we naturally will in the semis. I really think if we can avoid Spain/someone else knocks them out, we win the whole thing.
  14. That is probably the best group we could’ve hoped for
  15. Having Ndiaye, Doyle & Berge certainly helped too.
  16. I think they’d be mid table in this years championship, genuinely. They were so average last year, such was the weakness of the league. Can see them sticking with Heckingbottom because they know there’s no saving themselves, whoever is in charge.
  17. And yet, he had hardly any injuries before coming here. How many players could we say that?
  18. Kal out for a while. Sounds like a torn hamstring. All Rennie’s fault!
