  1. Totally missed that, that is odd. Christmas maybe? God knows.
  2. I believe (someone may correct me) but the football club gets first option and decision on everything, not the Bears. So it would’ve been a City decision to have Bears tomorrow and us Sunday. Club may have seen an away day to Southampton on a Wednesday, freezing cold night against a side we’d be doing along of running against, as an opportune time to get an extra day of rest before the next game?
  3. This is the only time it’s happened this year, isn’t it? Outside of games over festive period etc Sky is 99% of times the only reason it changes, which effects every club. Part of me actually dreads the impact of the PL if we ever got there. Think it’s something like around half the games for every club are ever actually played at Saturday 3pm because of the tv deals/rights.
  4. No was definitely not a penalty. Armstrong very lucky to not be sent off for a second yellow for his dive at the end of the first half though. If it was further up the pitch, he probably would’ve had to have gone.
  5. Every away day in football atm seems to just be 14-17 year old ‘hard men’ jumping up and down acting hard 4 yards away from opposition fans, who could actually ‘get to them’ if they really were fighters who wanted a scrap, recording the whole thing on their phones to put on their Instagram / Snapchat stories. All before going home to their parents house and playing FIFA all night. It’s cringe as ****.
  6. Bloke is an absolute egomaniac. Walked around clapping the fans BY HIMSELF not with the players at FT, ensured he was the last person left on the pitch (along with the photographer) whilst doing so too. Absolute bell.
  7. Have to find a way to go 2 up top. Knight has been closest to the striker at all times in each of Manning’s games so far. I’d love to see Conway & Cornick up top together. I think Liam will have seen enough to realise we need to be 2 up top moving forward.
  8. Sykes pulled up a few mins before coming off. Looked like cramp but he could hardly move whatever it was. Tinnion will appoint himself head of medical before long.
  9. Massively missed opportunity for points that. We looked totally out of ideas after they scored, which doesn’t make any sense after playing so well first half. We looked happy to just lose it 1-0. Given we were playing a side who would shag the ball if they could, the amount of times we needlessly turned the ball over was absolutely staggering. Second half was truly, truly horrific and was a borderline copy and paste of QPR.
  10. Max has absolutely killed us today. His kicking has been ******* horrific.
  11. This second half has been absolutely shite fair play
  12. Armstrong should’ve been given a second yellow then
  13. 7 subs - the cynic in me thinks they don’t want certain 23s stragglers/one with bad attitudes to join up and potentially earn win bonus
  14. Exactly how I felt. Was expecting to sit and listen for 15/20 mins, get some titbits that would then drive relevant questions off the back of them. Tinnion, Gould & Nige went into loads of interesting detail off the bat last year. This week was literally Jon saying, thanks for coming, an awkward silence throughout and then thrown straight to the crowd. Checked back from the two streams, and this year was a good half an hour (or a third) shorter than last, which I think sums up how rushed the whole thing felt.
  15. They’re even more ******* deluded than we thought, If they think he’d take that job.
  16. They were asked, bumbled along a bit about giving the department more resource hence splitting Rennie’s old role into two, and just said it was based on numerous data points that will now also be used in recruitment moving forward - maybe partly the role of Krause? This was all prefaced by JL (I think) saying he’s not a medical expert, yet commented on it in his Joe Sims interview. After sleeping on it, the whole night felt a bit fever dream like tbh. I knew we wouldn’t get much out of them, but from 15 minutes onwards the whole vibe and energy they gave off to questions, Manning aside, made it almost pointless to even ask anything
  17. Always really liked him since being a manager. Extremely articulate and clearly a very good coach too.
