Another one who’s had some very very senior roles at a young age. Haven’t heard of a dual coach and analyst role, ticks the progressive box. Obviously a key part of their set up. Exciting

Honestly, I’m finding it all a bit strange. First day of training, okay, maybe I can kinda get it. But to be there on the Second day too….Weird. Why? Is he going to critique their sessions?

Not saying it’s a bad thing he’s in that role at all, we’ve absolutely been crying out for it for years. Just found it odd to follow him Round all day. Gave me the vibes of Sir Alex always being in attendance at United games and the Sky cameras panning to him whenever they conceded. As someone else mentioned, I do personally think he’d be nowhere near the role somewhere else. It’s a hell of a leap from academy/loans to what he’s doing now, and in that sense falls under “very under qualified” for a job. Don’t get me wrong, love him, one of my hero’s, really pleased we finally have someone in place at that role, but also slightly uneasy at someone so inexperienced in that ‘remit’ having it. As you say Fevs, scrutiny/praise should be with him as much as anyone else now.

I have to say, I’ve found the Tinnion lurking stuff all very very odd. Lurking at the front of him addressing the players, next to the cameras for the press conference, watching him being filmed for club media, now you can see him stood on the sideline watching the first training session. half expecting him to be in the dugout on Saturday!

I’d also not totally rule out that those being ignored were club (I.e Tinnion) decisions, not just manager. Maybe a combination of the two of them.

Saw that earlier. Oxfords reaction has been ******* odd tbh. As far as I’m aware he’s never said he’d never leave, never said he wants to be there forever. We are a bigger club with much higher expectations, much bigger salary for him, better squad, better facilities, much higher average attendance. That’s without red specs on, just pure facts. The talk of them “picking him up from the scrap heap” is laughable as well. One of the most highly thought of coaches in England. Not some down and outer journeyman coach that had been sacked from his last 10 jobs.

I’ll be honest I think the media team would rather the club would rather fold than let us have access for that Just time really, OSIB has been slogging away for 6 years now would you believe, with all of those years being episodes after every game pretty much up until this season. We all wanted a bit of a freshen up really, all are much busier than we were when it started, Stan’s moving to France etc etc. We’ll still be doing things like this, broader reviews, the magazine etc but don’t think we’ll do post game stuff anymore unless there’s something big that’s happened really
