East End Old Boy
To think, many here won't remember the 87 storm. I'm old. I remember the single glazed windows flexing. I was waiting for my bedroom window to go pop. Didn't we end up in the play offs that season!

Whooooossshhhh
Tell my mrs, she deals with all things gardening, it's a ladies garden ! Now if you can make sure that the ladies garden makes it through the next couple of days unscathed, then you never know....... there might be something in it for you later on! BS34Red
Have I got time to nip to KFC?Miss Millies gravy is better and they deliver. As Dolly said both bridges closed. Currently my local weather station is showing winds of 1mph!! This storm is gonna creep up on us and hit us for 6. The wind gusts earlier were a maximum of 30mph and that was enough to knock trees down etc, we're expected to receive double that in a few hours time. For those thinking this is a non event because of the current weather just remember the storm is still not upon us yet and isn't over us. It's still a few hours away. RiverRed
A crisp packet struck a pensioner in Hotwells, police and ambulance crews are on the scene. It was probably one of those 'Frazzles' packets. They've got really sharp edges. Nasty.
