Phileas Fogg
Seems like a pretty fair way of organising it. Shame for me, probably won't get one as only Forever Bristol membership!
View from the Dolman
Yeovil do cheaper tickets online so it's just keeping in line with that.
catcott_red1
I've been to over 4 away games this season so that's fine, however i go with my mates who are also season ticket holders (they've been to 4 + as well) but i purchase the tickets and whenever i have ordered them the ticket office don't ask for the other persons details, so it won't register that my mates have also been to 4 games, will it? YorkshireSection
Seems like a pretty fair way of organising it. Shame for me, probably won't get one as only Forever Bristol membership! I've always bought a ticket for the home end in the past and told the steward that when I booked online I asked for an away ticket, we were kindly moved, no hassle what's so ever. Alex_BCFC
Why don't they include Doncaster and Colchester? Would be silly if those were your 4th away game and not counted?!
Ryan_BCFC
I'm in the home end for this one with a Yeovil STH. I'm sure many others will follow.

There's going to be a problem here.. As suspected, after a colleague of mine has just spoken to the club, they have confirmed that the 4+ tickets can only be identified against the person who's purchased the tickets. I've been to 9 away games this season, 1 of which (Rochdale) was POTD. The other 8 I purchased the tickets for myself and others (as I like to know its done) and my mates (all season ticket holders) then pay me back. However by this logic none of these will register as 'attended' for my mates. The club said that when purchasing tickets we should give names of any other Season ticket holders attending so the system can be updated... However I've not once been prompted to this effect other than for Swindon when they were only on sale to Season Ticket holders...

The Chaplain
Tis a shame, Yeovil was going to be my 5th away game in a month! Sadly, only MK of those seems to count and. apart from that, I've only been to Swindon & Coventry in the league and Gillingham in the JPT!
Redminster
Not that I'm condoning this, but given the likelihood that these won't make general sale and the short distance involved, I would expect many to sit in the two side stands. Probably best not to go in the home terrace I would think. As usual, no trouble so long as you don't jump around like a loon if (when) we score and keep your mouth shut in general. We have an allocation of 2,000ish, it's on a Tuesday night and I doubt much more than 5-600 season ticket holders have been to more than 4. Then take into account those that have been but never put them on their accounts (POTD etc) and there will still be plenty by the time it gets to season ticket holders. Alas I don't think it will get as far as us members :-(

You would hope that the club would take a common sense approach - ie if they can see on 8 occassions you have purchased 4 tickets to allow you to buy 4 tickets to this game. If I were you this is something I would persevere with until you get a chance to speak with someone who can make a decision. If 'computer says no' approach takes over I suppose the saving grace is that tickets will be available in the second tranche, albeit it may be a long queue. Same situation here, whenever I've bought away tickets I have also got other peoples. As far as I can see it looks like I will be able to buy myself a Yeovil ticket, but the people I go with will have to wait until they go on sale to all season ticket holders. gordie
Dammed if you do dammed if you don't, the club are trying to listen to what the fans are saying on this issue but whatever they do there is always someone who is going to fall foul of what they do, some I agree with are hard done by ( ie buying for other people and not having allocated to that person and I am included in that) but at least they are listening and that is a big positive going forward. James
Also worth noting ... 'Following feedback from FAN (Fans Advisory Network), the club has introduced four priority periods for sales, beginning with season ticket holders who have attended four or more away games during 2014/15.' Does this mean that the latter stages of last season will be taken in to account as well? Dammed if you do dammed if you don't, the club are trying to listen to what the fans are saying on this issue but whatever they do there is always someone who is going to fall foul of what they do, some I agree with are hard done by ( ie buying for other people and not having allocated to that person and I am included in that) but at least they are listening and that is a big positive going forward. I completely agree with what the club have done here and as mentioned I won't fall foul of it myself anyway, however (as with several other decisions this season) they have caused themselves issues by making it clear (even recently) that there is no and will not be any process in place to 'reward' loyal away followers. In previous seasons when I've called to purchase tickets on behalf of others I've always been asked for their details, therefore when I wasn't pressed for this when purchasing tickets for Sheffield Utd I actually asked the question - "can I give you their details?" to which I was told there was a. no need & b.no way to do so without processing all in separate transactions against each persons profile... I asked about the ticketing situation going forward to Dave L in the q & a and his response was: Full details will be announced in due course but we will soon have a new ticketing system. This will also make it possible for us to reward loyalty by automatically logging and recognising ticket purchases etc. We should have this in place for next season. A new phone system is an integral part of the stadium rebuild. We hope to have it installed by the time we move into our new offices in the south stand. We absolutely recognise and understand that the current arrangements are not acceptable, and a lot of work is going on behind the scenes to rectify this. Always Believesham
What a joke! What if you've POD at away games? It was obvious to me at the start of the season, for every game you pay on the day, the club won't know you've gone so can't reasonably give you priority We don't use stubs any more to prove attendance - Not a personal thing, I took this as a given with electronic ticketing systems we've had since 2009 A couple of years ago, City gave a free ticket to fans that had been to so many away games, I had missed 1 that season so comfortably fell into that category - I didn't get one, I saw no point in moaning. Best case for me, the club then put in extensive new provisions and processes that are invariably hard to implement just to try and satisfy a couple of fans. Id already bought my ticket when I found out about this Likewise It would be great to go, I'll be gutted if I can't get mates tickets that are ST holders & have been to games with me. Life is too short and it's not the end of the world Good luck getting a ticket though
Redminster
Why ever not ? Not that I think there would be the remotest likelihood of trouble, just more likely I think that you'd get found out as not being a YTFC fan, turfed out by a steward and not being able to watch the remainder of the game. If you log in to your online ticket account and go to "your account" and then "your bookings" it will show you everything that the club have on the system against your Season Ticket etc. This should answer your question in a round about way

Bar BS3
What a joke! What if you've POD at away games? The club obviously have no idea who goes POTD and you get 2nd priority. I'm all for this priority scheme and think it's great that the club have listened and that those who are known as regular away followers get their ticket guaranteed. It's not perfect, but it is FAR better than just going straight to priority STH sale IMO.
