CotswoldRed
Copper must pissed with Swindon Advertiser as they're banned from the press conference......that's a very stupid thing to do. It crucial to have the local press on your side and getting pissed off with them isn't exactly gonna help... Excellent. If they are banned, who's left? HoldenBall
Wait.. why do we want Branco to be banned? He was a complete liability for them all game. I say let him let him play. Check out the comment from a Swindle fan on that page "The elbow was a bit out of order, no getting away from it. However, Branco was sent out to do a job on Flint and he did it. Flint is not averse to putting a bit of stick about himself by the way. Glad we've got someone to stand up to those 'bully boys' in the league!" Typical response from a fan who's probably use to the thug tactics.
Admin Ian M Posted April 9, 2015 Admin Report Share Posted April 9, 2015 Doing a quick "branco elbow" search on Twitter reveals a lot of people tweeted @FA about it. eg https://twitter.com/Rviver1979/status/585943199463636992
meltonmowbrayred
There is no excuse for not giving a retrospective red as the ref did not see it. He would do his reputation further damage if he said he had seen it and judged it ok. Would city have let it go if it had led to broken cheek bone? City should ask for this to be looked at as if it had been a Premier League match; what's the difference?

GrahamC
Utter nonsense. He's massaging the facts. Alluding to his Latin American character is bull. He knows its part of their game. Referring to his roots is his way of masking it. Spot on. They are obnoxious, all play acting and sly elbows, hope they **** up in the play offs. It crucial to have the local press on your side and getting pissed off with them isn't exactly gonna help... It's not Cooper, it's that lunatic Power... Every time the inland revenue issue a winding up order, which has been done a few times, the Advertiser asks for his comments, he tells them to get lost, they report it... Something will implode at that club in the future, the money situation is very shady.

zyderiup
Am I reading that right that Cooper says there will only be action taken if the ref hasn't seen it. Therefore suggesting that the ref DID see it and thought it was OK? I need a sit down

BobBobSuperBob
Yes, I'm incredibly petty... Thank you for your email. The FA is aware of this matter and is currently investigating it. Thank you again for getting in touch. Kingswoodactor
Didn't Branco actually pick up his 10th booking of the season on Tuesday night? Or was it that other mug who slapped Joe Bryan on his face?

slartibartfast
If the FA see it, he'll be retrospectively banned for a few games. Along with the other three already banned. Couldn't come at a better time. Karma. Agreed, they might get some better defenders in, in time for PNE !

PFree
http://m.swindonadvertiser.co.uk/sport/12880052._/ Guess Cooper could hardly defend the indefensible but seems to underscore everyone's thoughts that nothing more will come of it. No doubt it will be different in a years time when we reach the Prem. If the same had happened to a Swindon player, he'd still be rolling around now

Kingswoodactor
Next two And with the forearm smash could well get another 2 or 3 Enjoy your rest donkey An extra 3 for the elbow to go with his 2 game ban for his 10th yellow of the season would be splendid. Just checking the FA suspensions page and it shows that Kasim & Branco now miss the next 2 matches, and Timlin & Turnball are both 1 booking away from a ban.
