PHILINFRANCE
Nine down, and Hartley has SIX! Well played that young man, but also credit to Stokes for persevering.

MichaelRobartes
To be fair England weren't very good for the first couple of days. It would be a great win given the first innings deficit and the injury to Leach. Would love to see them keep Foakes in as well. I know it's been discussed here a lot but having a proper keeper makes such a difference.

TBF I was there with him , but I am even more 'knee jerk ' with Cricket than I am with football. MichaelRobartes
Brilliant win for England. Two of the biggest individual turnarounds I've seen in a test from Pope and Hartley. Siraj charging down the wicket in that match situation
1960maaan
I was just about to post "WTF is Stokes doing" no close catchers and needs a wicket. If the plan was to make the batter comfortable enough to charge Hartley, great plan What was Siraj doing , glad he did it, but madness in the context of the game. Brilliant game , could be a good series after all

Gillies Downs Leeds
Magnificent England. Hartley certainly gets revs on the ball. Stuffed a lot of negative comments, on various platforms back down the throats of the authors. The 3rd innings of a test match is usually the crucial one and so it proved in this test.
