Gutted for Max if we’re bringing in Stephen Henderson rather than keeping him around the first team squad. I wonder if it’s time for Taylor to move on and for us to realise a profit. Now we are looking stronger across attack minded midfield I wonder whether we’d think hard if a strong bid for Pato came in before the deadline. He has flashes of brilliance but goes missing during games and when we’re on a bad run. Also not sure there’s the work rate that LJ demands. I believe he has to pay them a big sum if he breaks his contract. Ashley won't sack him as it will cost him. It has been reported that he has been offered £100m to spend if he signs a 3 year contract but that £100m would itself be spread over 3 years.
