Why are you so sure we didn’t go for Rudoni? We don’t conduct our transfer business overtly. I’m not saying we did btw, but it is perfectly possible we did go for him, but he chose Huddersfield for whatever reason. We aren’t every players first choice are we? It may be we didn’t go for him because we don’t need that type of player, but do need Cornick. On one hand I say we should have gone for him and I’m told we have no cash and who’s to say we were ever in for him, and on the other hand, maybe we had gone for him either way it doesn’t matter. It’s another we have or are likely to miss out on due to our own shortfalls as a club. A very intelligent player, good movement and can chip in with goals. Similiar to Weimann in some ways, but with a low centre of gravity. Decent numbers, this season not quite so much granted. Has a good availability level or has done. Wide attacker isn't he? Knows the League. Ticks a number of boxes for sure- could then see Weimann-Wells-Cornick for some games or maybe Sykes-Weimann/Wells-Cornick for others.
