I've posted a few times about our dearth of "prime age" players. Getting two in would be a good move, especially as 27 is the right end of those prime years. He's pretty proven at this level now having had good seasons with Luton. Semenyo has equally had injury issues so it's hardly a unique case. Bournemouth are in the Prem & have just bid 30m Euros for a current Italian international. This bid is a wake up call, not for those of us who have been banging on about where we are because of FFP, but for those still thinking we actually compete with Bournemouth & that Pearson will get all the money to spend. Let’s face it, Luton absolutely piss all over us in terms of their recruitment in the last 5 years or so & we are now playing catch up by signing their squad players. Reality check or what?
