We will win despite Blackburn's trickery. They are likely to score but just not as many as us and a top 6 place is beckoning as eagerly as a German at a gas depot.

Hopefully, goals galore from our attacking machine this season, and a stronger/improving defence should be hard to break down.

Strange that they’d won 4/7 before today then & most people would say Dack, Brereton-Diaz & Hirst is some forward line.

They are a good side, will be top half & yet we are dominating sides like this.

I know some on here hate to admit it, but Pearson is doing an incredible job.

Just shows what having an experienced, knowledgeable football manager can do, even with our ridiculous FFP constraints.

We are nowhere near the perfect package, but we are pretty damn good. 

Hats off to NP and the team, first away win and deservedly so.

What's amazing is the progression in shape, passing and high pressing for three quarters of that game Blackburn weren't able to play. City looked comfortable due to their fantastic work rate. Its brave to play a high defensive line, but its paying off brilliantly. Still early days, but if this is a work in progress, I'm loving it!
