You`re probably right. If it had been Pakistan v New Zealand and went the same we`d be saying it wasn`t ever in doubt, it`s only because it was England. It`s a bit like watching City `hanging on`  on Sky and worrying yourself sick when the neutrals in the studio say the result was never really in any doubt.

As much as there's the rivalry between England and Australia I think they respect the brand of cricket England play in limited overs cricket

Maybe but Stokes was within a millimetre of edging one behind a few times before he hit a couple of fours, if he had and Afridi didn’t get injured it would certainly have been closer.

But you take what’s thrown at you and we’re deserved winners in the end
