Birmingham in years gone by, yes definitely.

This month, straight out unaccompanied………but I did do a rare thing for me in leaving at 90 minutes, a few minutes before the final whistle a we were 3 down

That's good to hear. After previous experiences it's one I give a miss

There are a few threads on the Bristol subreddit saying a body was pulled out of the mud but I don’t think it’s related in anyway to todays fixture

Thanks. Didn’t imagine it was football related. Understandably most of the bystanders looked in shock despite it being a fairly common occurrence unfortunately.

All of the Swansea fans were still in the Atyeo in the several mins that it took me to exit AG.

One thing that did surprise me was the lack of visible police. The only time I saw any activity was when a squad car with blue was racing down the Winterstoke Rd on the opposite side heading toward AG.

Are you blind? Or do you always walk around with your ******* eyes closed?

Good day and great result for Gloucester.

After a good few beers come on  here  to find this Cesspit of opinion .

Nearly every topic ends up in debate other than Football ands is not much different from the Politics threads.

Give it a rest FFS.

Ok. So. On Thursday evening BigTone posted a picture of Number 10 Downing Street, having just had a new resident of Asian descent, pictured with Londis above the door and fruit & veg outside the door.

I asked if he could clarify what the meaning of this was, but there was no reply.
Other posters also questioned what this was about, with 1 poster saying it certainly appeared to be a racist joke.
There were obviously other complaints too as Phantom removed the post. As can be seen in Pic 1.

Next day, Tony PM’s me and said he didn’t appreciate me calling him a racist.
I hadn’t actually called him a racist, all I’d asked for was some clarification of what the ‘joke’ was. It was another poster who said it looked like it was a racist joke.

Anyway, in the PM discussion, I used the stereotypical racist term to which I believed Tony’s post was referencing. My use of this term was only to ask Tony if this is what his post had referred to, as it was certainly the inference that myself and clearly other posters had perceived.
See pic 2.

Tony then accuses ME of being racist and says that the Number 10 Downing Street being turned into a Londis was actually a metaphor for a balanced economy. I still didn’t understand how this could be the meaning and asked him again to explain. He refused and called me a child.

Hopefully that gives you all the context you need.
Now - if Tony would care to explain what the Londis at Number 10 referred to, if it wasn’t a 1970’s stereotypical racist slur, then I will happily apologise.
As it stands, he’s attempting to turn it around and label me as the racist, which is as deplorable as the original ‘joke’.

Sometimes we have to use language we don't like to explain things we don't like, it's not like the word is illegal - using it is all about context and it seems Tones context could easily be understood as racist, I would have probably thought the same. In which case I think your spot on to ask Tone for clarification and use of the racist slur in trying to understand where he was coming from  him clearly doesn't make you a racist at all.

I'm on team Harry

BigTone posted a racist comment and got called out.

It’s easily resolved.
BigTone can be humble and say “yes, the joke was in bad taste. I didn’t mean it to be the way it came across and I apologise. It was a poorly thought piece of banter. I also apologise for attempting to flip this to lay the blame on the whistleblower, and I hope everyone can understand that I meant no offence and I’ve learned an important lesson”.

There were only 1000 coppers in the park, no visibility at all………

Well, there may have been but my route back to the car was not via Ashton Rd or Greville Smyth park and I saw no police other than the one car I mentioned earlier.

My route back the car is via Winterstoke Rd.

As I came out of the Lansdown and toward the park, there were loads of police. Obviously Robbored is a blind man.
Anyway, as I walked along the wall by the park, I was laughing to myself as I saw about 200 of what I thought was 12-14 year olds. I laughed to myself thinking “ha ha, what’s this bunch of kids gonna do when Swansea come out”.
Anyway, about 30 Swansea entered the park outside the away end and started singing something anti English.
These couple of hundred teens descended, en masse, over the wall and toward the Swansea fans. Fair play to ‘em I thought.
Obviously nothing actually happened as the park was already swamped with police, who kept it under control, but these young’s uns all went for it as one.

This mass of young uns ended up at the top end of the park where there’s the pedestrian crossing, where there were 3 riot vans blocking the road to separate the swans who’d been escorted the other way.
Nothing happened here either apart from an exchange of songs. And then everyone departed.

I must say though, this was a bloody good sized mob of teens.
In the hoolie world, the academy is flourishing.

Did any of them have those odd hoodies on? The ones with those bizarre goggles in the hood.

I can’t work out if they’re on a welding course or want to take part in the Mille Miglie.

Hang on. I’ve realised the mystery of @Robboredblindness. I reckon the ****** was wearing his when he left his seat in the Dolman, couldn’t see any visible police and thought the Swansea fans were being held back.

Come on Robbo. Surprise us. 3 little words. I was ………

No…..I left at full time like all true City fans. It took me about 6-7 mins to descend to the concourse and the Swansea fans in the Atyeo had not moved at all.

This is the same as City fans at West Brom, the Swansea fans were waiting for their players to come to the Atyeo end to applaud them!

As for police, for a start there were a significant number lined outside in between the Atyeo and Dolman!

He has!

Indeed the stewarding in the whole clip was fairly inept. Just strolled out of the stand despite stewards being down the front then those running to apprehend only arrived 20 odd seconds in and only when he was strolling back towards the Atyeo.

Then the fall! ?

I saw that incident and thought nothing of it. One idiotic fan making a ***** of himself and getting arrested, no big deal.

There was also some kind of medical emergency in the lower Dolman and the fans were trying to get the referees attention to pause the game but without success. Anyone know what happened?

Let’s walk 10 yards with my arms spread wide = season long ban from all football

absolutley brain dead , if your that way inclined at least have a decent tear up or throw a few punches like the city fans did couple of years ago .

seems like Swansea have over taken Cardiff & Millwall in recent years for coming looking for trouble & usually getting it . City rarely disappoint ??

Apparently our toilets have took a beating again, heard this is from a mate who supports the swans

What is it that our Welsh "friends" from both Swansea and Cardiff have against toilets?

Do they really get so pissed off that they need to pan the crap out of them?

Swansea drew, so it's not like they're sore loo-sers.

Perhaps someone will leek the names  of the perpetrators and they'll get sent down.
