It's not the point. Satisfied with a point away, of course.

We've been battered today. If it weren't for Max, we could easily have conceded 5 or 6.

They've had 70% possession. Over 20 efforts at our goal. More that twice the passes & twice the attacks we've had.

This is one of the few teams who are below us in the table..!

It's a welcome point - but a rather fortunate one.

As our 1 point from the last 2 home games against 2 teams above us,was not good dispite being the better side, you can’t pick and choose what is acceptable

Perhaps offsets the misfortune that we’ve had of late. NP has said for a long time that we don’t have the players to be a possession team, so we are always going to be low on the stats away from home.

Lots of great individual performances, the players earned that result.

We are 3 points above the relegation zone, having played a game more than every team below us.

We are BOTTOM of the form table over the last 10 games and won just 2 of our last 11 games....

You don't think that puts us in a relegation scrap...?

Your idol had us in a proper relegation scrap 18 months in

Survival with an unexpected win at Brighton in the penultimate game

You were %100 behind him

All true, but then we battery Sheffield United and got nothing. Swings and roundabouts...

It's not swings & roundabouts when we've won 2 of our last eleven games...!

You make it sound like Sheff Utd game was an unfortunate anomolly - the anomolly was that we had the better of the stats - & still lost.

A good point away from home, on a day we were quite wayward in defence. Max was exceptional, Pring and Conway very good. A few were well off the required level. But getting a draw is great when you have such an off day.

I struggle to understand some posters on here who seem to gain great joy from the team struggling. It is most bizarre. The negativity and total lack of comprehension of the situation at the club is exactly what we need to get rid of to become a success in the future. None of it is constructive, it is just negative moaning.

Which is why they have to carry on criticising. You can't moan all afternoon then say "happy with a point". Makes you look an even bigger idiot. The fact is some of them were literally "waiting" for Middlesbrough to get the winner and we disappointed them by battling for a point - despite having no bollocks apparently.

Yes, we were poor today, make no mistake about that. If Sykes replaces Semenyo at half time, with the benefit of hindsight, the goal doesn't get conceded. However, I'm happy we took a point up there.

Nope we don’t look like a relegation team, we are an inconsistent team but not a poor one, get the consistency back and we’ll be fine.

World Cup break coming at the right time. Refresh the players get the injured ones back. We need the break

Agreed that we need the time for players to heal/rest but we've been so poor of late returning from a break. Hope we can turn that around. COYR

No, we aren’t.

Wigan have got 7 points in their last 10 games,  Rotherham have got 8, we have 9.

Boring facts, aren’t they?

Are we in relegation scrap, you are correct we will be worse off next season when we sell our assets but you can lay that at super Lee and Ashton spending beyond their means

It’s nothing to do with Ashton or Johnson us spending beyond our means , there is one man at the club who signs off expenditure and agrees the budget. That person is still at the football club

Yes I can.

Being 3 points above the relegation zone, having played a game more than every team below us - is unacceptable.

Being below Coventry, who have 3 games in hand, is unacceptable.

Winning only 2 of our last 11 games is unacceptable.

A points per game ratio, over 20 months, of 1.1ppg is unacceptable.

You are obsessed with stats mate, watch games with your eyes instead of your laptop,do you think Middlesbrough will be in a relegation scrap out of interest

So what is the solution?

Not a great game and would have lost without Max. Our midfield was non existent. Seeing as we were playing players out of position I dunno why we didn't just put Scott at RB and DaSilva at LB to go 4 at the back.

obviously you weren’t watching James throughout the match, he was exceptional as the holding midfielder plus Scott and Williams battled throughout.

That can literally be said of every team in and around us (bar Coventry) the reason teams finish 13th-19th is inconsistency and a bit of luck there are 3 worse teams. There’s no way after watching the last 10/11 games you can sit there comfortably and say “we’ll be fine”. It’s going the same way as last season I’m afraid, let’s hope we get the same amount of luck with those below us again.

NP taking over a team with no money and players on high earnings not even getting a games. Clearing the mess caused by SL/ MA and past management . If he had carried on the spending I would be on his back and starting to doubt him. But he has one hell of a job on his hands. Surely fans can see the problems he faces. Yes he has made mistakes but I’m still 100% behind NP.
