No injuries and a good performance would do me tomorrow. No you want to win believe me. If you get through City are in the 6th Round of the F.A. Cup for heavens sake - the last eight of competition. For clubs like us, that doesn't happen all too often. Can understand wanting to beat Cardiff, it's a West Country thing, a rivalry with Wales. But ask yourself when's the next time BCFC could be on the verge of a quarter final place in the F.A. Cup. Embrace the opportunity, go for it, many are right behind you. It's being shown live on ITV tomorrow, just may give this a view although Roy Keane and Ian Wright will be doing analysis which is going to spoil things for some. The former was one of our worst managers. Whether you're asleep right now or wide awake I see little to worry about here. Many neutrals won't give you a chance but you can work that to your advantage. I think it's doable for you, Nigel Pearson has done a very good job in recent weeks, it hasn't gone unnoticed by other fans, and Manchester City have got so much involvement in other objectives this season they could easily lose focus and blow up tomorrow night. I'll try and catch some of the action from AG for this, check out a few of your players, but will have to frantically search for the channel switch button whenever Keane and Wright show themselves. 24

Tonight is a total “free hit” with an opportunity for us to show the nation what we are all about as a club.

No injuries and a good performance would do me tomorrow. For me, I'd rather beat Man City. We've already beaten Cardiff this season. We play them every season. We're not going down so don't desperately need the points. Beating Man City would do absolute wonders for this football club. It will go down in history. Beating Cardiff is just standard at this point. 6 1

Imagine the buzz of beating just about the best team in Europe and reaching the quarter finals for the first time since 1974. We’d be all over the media, it would do wonders for the profile of our club and the money we’d make could finance a signing or two. The club would be absolutely buzzing if we pulled this off. I might understand your perspective if we were desperate for points but we are safe and the playoffs are a pipe dream. If a magic fairy offered a win tonight and say a 2-0 defeat on Saturday, I’d snap their hand off in a second. Surely most people would agree? Oh Louie louie
Give a good account of ourselves, back to the bread and butter, where we have some momentum going, we can't pin our hopes on a magic fairy turning up, pushing Cardiff deeper in a Dogfight be a perfect week

Red_Alligator
I switched on the radio (BBC 6 Music) a short time ago - the record playing none other than "Making plans for Nigel" by XTC. Is this an omen I wonder???..... 1

No way, victory tonight against the league champions would be one of our greatest achievements ever, we are not going up this season anyway, but we can make history tonight, COYR! Puckle_red
I'm in the 'don't get battered tonight, then beat Cardiff' camp. Currently, Man City don't make it feel as special as if it were Arsenal, Liverpool, Man U. But still, it's about enjoying the moment. Curr Avon
I was having trouble sleeping, and made it 10 times worse by following the BBC Online coverage of the England New Zealand second test, from 2-3am. What a cracker that was. Maybe next time Jimmy!

Roe
Find it crazy when people say they don't care about this. How often do we play against the best team in the country?? Of course Cardiff is a big game too but its also just 1/46th of a season in that we're almost certainly gonna finish in the middle of the table

ralphindevon
Beating Man City would would be a bigger achievement than when we beat United and Liverpool. Both those games are forever remembered on the walls of Ashton Gate but neither team were a patch on this City team. The chances of victory are very slim but it's going to be a great night watching us against some of the world's best players. 2

All I’m hoping for us to give a good account, no new injuries and for Scott and Williams to avoid a booking. Anything else is a bonus, albeit a bloody BIG one.
