Id much prefer 3 points against Cardiff than win against Man City.

No injuries and a good performance would do me tomorrow.

I’m with you @YorkshireSection- let’s just get through in tact with no injuries etc, moving on to Sat away at Cardiff.

Tonight is a total “free hit” with an opportunity for us to show the nation what we are all about as a club.

For me, I'd rather beat Man City.

We've already beaten Cardiff this season. We play them every season. We're not going down so don't desperately need the points.

Beating Man City would do absolute wonders for this football club. It will go down in history. Beating Cardiff is just standard at this point.

Oh come on, really?

Imagine the buzz of beating just about the best team in Europe and reaching the quarter finals for the first time since 1974. We’d be all over the media, it would do wonders for the profile of our club and the money we’d make could finance a signing or two. The club would be absolutely buzzing if we pulled this off. I might understand your perspective if we were desperate for points but we are safe and the playoffs are a pipe dream.

If a magic fairy offered a win tonight and say a 2-0 defeat on Saturday, I’d snap their hand off in a second. Surely most people would agree?

You remember the Man United game yes?

Do you remember the Cardiff game that same season? It’s a no brainier for me.

No way, victory tonight against the league champions would be one of our greatest achievements ever, we are not going up this season anyway, but we can make history tonight, COYR!

Find it crazy when people say they don't care about this. How often do we play against the best team in the country??

Of course Cardiff is a big game too but its also just 1/46th of a season in that we're almost certainly gonna finish in the middle of the table

Beating Man City would would be a bigger achievement than when we beat United and Liverpool.

Both those games are forever remembered on the walls of Ashton Gate but neither team were a patch on this City team.

The chances of victory are very slim but it's going to be a great night watching us against some of the world's best players.

I’m with you on this. Tonight is a free hit to nothing and if we pull it off, it will go down as arguably the best win in our history. All I’m hoping for us to give a good account, no new injuries and for Scott and Williams to avoid a booking. Anything else is a bonus, albeit a bloody BIG one.
