Sheltons Army
I wish good luck to whatever failure the Lansdowns conjure up as he’s probably going to be starting majorly uphill with the vast majority of any fan base that’s left , more so than any other City manager I can recall Edited October 29, 2023 by Sheltons Army

Did a great job at Birmingham until they lost the plot & sacked him for a "glamour" name. Millwall always managed to finish above us despite having a lesser squad, imho. To totally rule him out just seems silly - who knows how it work out - but he is available & has experience of doing better at this level than we usually manage to achieve.
Shaftesburyred
Whoever it is has to get us promoted without having to spend any money. Mid table with a squad of 17 year olds obviously not good enough is it Jonny boy
LondonBristolian
We’re not going to get anyone I would prefer to Pearson but the priority for me is that we don’t start yet another rebuild and another three years of transition. Pearson did the rebuild and did it well - the wheel doesn’t need another reinvention.

Ivorguy
Anyone with integrity and half a brain cell wouldn’t touch the job with a barge pole, thus whoever comes almost certainly will fail as he will have lost fan base from day 1, to say nothing about players and back room staff. ralphindevon
Rowett is a good shout if you never go to games. If you do, then its just too boring to watch.
LondonBristolian
Eustace and Robins are the only two names with any appeal at all for me. Rowett would underwhelming but make pragmatic sense. Dean Smith would worry me in that he builds teams that are nice to watch but a bit tactically naive and vulnerable at the back and being solid at the back and hard to score many against is probably our biggest strength at the moment.
