I do wonder that when a new head coach is brought in and by some strange miracle he gives us a positive bounce, we get in the top 6 and then pip Ipswich to second place on the last day of the season and get automatic promotion what we will all think when looking back at NP’s sacking and the comments on this forum over the past few days

Supporters are a fickle breed and only seek success for their club, it doesn’t matter who, or how they just want it

SL wants and needs a buyer and will get a far better return if we are a Prem club - maybe he is getting impatient?

He’s tried chucking money at it, tried being patient and build from within but realised Covid hit plans to keep home grown talent and had to sell due to FPP

Whats Next Steve?

Surely someone goes on just to give us fans some form of reasoning for their decision.

Why break the habit of a lifetime?

Anyway we're just "customers" to them. Jon is busy with his colouring-in homework and Daddy Lansdown is busy checking the contents of his nest-egg and counting beans.

To be fair to them actually - today and tonight they will be busy on the phone to the agents of the managers that they will be lining up for interviews over next 2 days. Offer the job Wednesday - Thursday he goes home to mull it over. Friday in to meet players. Saturday introduced to the fans and watching the game.

If anyone goes on RB then it has to be either Steve Lansdown, Jon Lansdown, Gavin Marshall or Tom Rawcliffe. Allowing Tinnion on is either a) tacit admission that he was the machiavellian mastermind behind it all or b) basically sending out Grant Schapps to talk about the economy. anything.

Fixed that.

Also, I'm not confident there's anyone at Radio Local capable of posing the type of questions necessary.

Thanks for giving us the opportunity to grieve!   There's been a lot spoke about SL not wanting promotion because it'll cost him more.   On the contrary SL is desperate for promotion because it's his exit strategy.   Much easier to sell a Premier League club than a Championship one.

This isn't the way to go about it

Why not have them already lined up? They knew full well they were pulling the trigger.

It takes 15 mins of their time to speak to the fans.

3 sentences. That's all they've said, and will say.

Spineless.
