Tinnion stated it in a DM on Twitter which was subsequently shared on Twitter and latterly on here.

Tinnion seems to spend more time on Twitter since he left Twitter than he ever did on Twitter BEFORE he left Twitter

Well I'm hardly gonna name them, it isn't in the public domain, they were told at their weekly meeting that all 3 recent signings are for the academy

Pretty sure the coaches have a meeting every day when they are in.

Not all academy coaches are in every day

Isn’t that what I wrote?

U18 and U21 coaches are full time, probably put more hours in than the first team.

The head schoolboy coaches are in full time, part time schoolboy coaches in two or three times a week coaching and match days.

His teammate Sam Curtis heading to Sheffield Utd by the sounds of it:

FM24 legend! Has the RB position locked down in my save (sorry Tanner, I gave you a chance but you kicked right off and Ipswich came to me with £3.5m, so what was I supposed to do?)

Not sure if I missed something in terms of Murphy being injured, but not featured at any level since joining us as far as I am aware.

Not in the U21 squad for today’s game.

If he is injured, do we know how long he is out for? If it’s not injury related, how come he isn’t involved currently?

Possibly for the same reason that Curtis isn't in Sheffield Uniteds match day squad.

I wonder if LM will try and get him into the match day squad soon and give him some game time before the end of the season?

With Bird & Stokes playing regularly whilst loaned back to the clubs we did the deals it would be strange if Murphy didn’t get any playing time

I am not aware of any injury?

The league of Ireland season started last weekend. Even acknowledging that its miles below the level we’re at, that should suggest that he’s timing wise done his “pre season” in terms of fitness and it’s now about getting him to the levels needed. I’d be shocked if he played for the first team this year but I’d certainly be hoping that he would be featuring in the U21 fixtures moving forward.

You would think that would be the first step.
Born in April so I think he's too old for U18.
I don't see him playing for the first team, unless we have nothing to play for nearer the end of the Season, even then I'd be surprised.

I’m hoping he does get some first team involvement before the seasons out.  But u21 games first.

He was signed predominantly for the academy at this time

I know he’s been doing a sort of pre-season, but surprised he hasn’t featured in u21s yet, or even cameos in first team training.

I think what we have to remember is that no matter if he’s a great prospect in LOI, that the level is pretty much National League South. Tapping my Louis Britton sign, he may be great in Ireland but some way off here. Either way, expecting him to be in the first team squad this season is a really small chance. And even next season is a punt.

As prior, my expectation is that he hits the U21 this year. If he doesn’t then I’m kind of a bit concerned that he isn’t where we thought he was.

Murphy came from Ireland Premier Division (St Pats finished third), the level above what Louis Britton played, and therefore a fair bit higher than NLS!  They played in European Conference League Qualifiers.  Not saying it’s a fantastic level, but comparison for Britton (Waterford / Cork were Ireland 1st Div - where he barely started) is a bit off!

Okay maybe not NLS but certainly NL. If you take for example Shamrock Rovers, Trevor Clarke who couldn’t touch Rovers team did well there and they currently also have ex gas Rory Gaffney as their main man at 34 - and he wasn’t pulling up trees above L2 at his prime!

Murphy may be the next Doyle. But it is a bloody big leap.

The point wasn’t about ability / potential….just about it’s been so quiet, other than the pre-season comment.
