Owers taking the piss about emotions

It was brilliant he said about imagine Roy Keane with his steely stare about to lead the Manchester United players onto the pitch against Liverpool and Fergie approaching him and telling him to cut out the emotion today.

Or before a City v Rovers match at Ashton Gate it being announced over the tannoy 'Could the City fans please cut out the emotion, thank you'.

I don’t think Owers quite understands what ‘emotions’ in Manning speak actually is.

I don’t think any of us do, because he seems to use the term completely incorrectly / out of context.

Its one of his stock phrases when he hasn’t got anything he can use to explain better.

Well, the players certainly don’t and that’s one of the (numerous) problems.

Can you explain for me please.

My understanding of what LM means when referring to ‘emotions’ is saying not to get too low when losing or too high when winning - try to keep as balanced as is possible during any match.

Just tuned in. Who’s the plank who’s got his nose up the clubs arse? Saying we’ve had a long term plan to replace Pearson with Manning.

James Piercy.

Jon. From Clifton.

Jesus. The club must have given him a backhand.

Gary Owers speaking well however. He actually understands it.

Sorry Dave. Way he’s speaking. I’d like his rose tinted glasses to try on.

No need to apologise Coach.  I think he’s a good guy and a bloody good journo.

Well if anyone heard a few rumours doing the rounds, Ian Gay has heard the same and just broadcast it on BBCRB.  Him and his source have no filter and no shame.  Wow!

Did wonder what all that was about.
also without actually naming them they’ve had a pop at the lansdowns there. A personality vacuum since nige left .

Sorry, went to edit, and deleted wrong bit.

This is what I’d put:

Heard what though Dave? I can’t find any context of a rumour?

Think it's quite telling Gary and the presenter have opined they're very sure that Manning will be here next season, whereas James hasn't made any such commitment, and instead has talked about things "spiralling" and the situation being "overwhelming".

I think if we don't get anything  from Leicester and Plymouth then Manning is gone.

This is what I posted yesterday also. Woke up with the feeling he has two games to save his job. Lose both, I think he’s done after Plymouth. Much like Gary Johnson.
